This what happens when you put 700 hp in a tank. Its got the power but cant get its big ass moving. Im a ford man and have a 01 cobra with an eaton swap. I thought about getting one these shelby's until i kept seeing them at the track getting beat bad and getting raped on the streets. They are just to heavy and need a whipple to even come close to way lower hp cars. My 01 put out 405 whp and beats stock GT500's all day long but my car only weighs 3520 vs 4000 for a GT500
@jrjimene I removed my comments below as I looked at your other videos and you are making some serious power. Although I do think the 758 rwhp at 16psi the guy told you was BS. For example a 2.9 Whipple at 16psi averages about 630-650 rwhp. Not sure where hes getting that other 100 from. As for your ride...I have not seen any other TT G35s handle cars like yours. Most are in that 400-450rwhp range. Details on your car?
@justagt500 Who tuned the car? What kind of dyno? Dynojet? Mustang Dyno? Dyno Dynamics? Cams would definitely give you an increase...not by brute boost, but efficiency of airflow. Also the cams actually can decrease boost numbers at the top end due to air dynamics, but still bang out high HP. Cams were not mentioned in the description....def will make a bit difference. Thanks for posting.
@JarrodGT na actually you're wrong, you can make 700+ on a 5.4 w/ a 2.9L Whipple. Stock blower with full bolt ons, my bosses Shelby GT 500 made 625whp. With the new 3.4L Whipple it should put down 740whp on pump gas easy. To the OP, nice G....how's the trans holding up?
