  • Your demonstration is very detailed description. I have quoted this film to my Blog ; then I can introduce this card technique to the members in Taiwan, who are interested in learning it. Thank you very much.

  • you need to brake the card when you lift

  • I love magic and I'm trying to learn a few tricks. I'm glad stuff like this is out there. Some people think that palming, double lifts and false pickups are tricks in and of themselves, but they're not. One kid tried to wow me the other day by doing a simple double lift (wow, the top card jumped down!) I told him that's not a real trick and then did a simple trick using a DL- he was still amazed and asked how I did it! It was just a DL with some fancy distraction and a regular shuffle thrown in!

  • GUYS plz check this video write " Card technique : the joker " and see the first video !

  • you're an idiot. I believe that you doesn't know that is the magic! knocker

  • Have a car wreck and die faggot.

  • Wow. You're a fuckin Genious. I mean, I've never heard anyone explain it like that. So, I turn a card over, then 2 then 1 then 2 then 1 again, turn the deck at an angle all the while have some corny ass music playing and then rub the back of the deck like I rub my wife's asshole. That's the double lift.

  • @bijand25 hahahahhahhaha good shit, i was about to say the same thing but you said it way better

  • i see you use a pinky break, interesting

  • how u turn the cards while sticking onto it ?!?!

  • Good Tutorial:D

  • Thank you for the tutorial!!!

  • you are the first person who shows a double lift tech that works so nice thank you i willl try and learn it :) i have much fun just with my invis deck :):)

  • ok it's a joke, i did'nt see his nick...

  • It's so obvious in this demonstration - I don't see how anyone can't get it! It's a lovely sleight and really tricky but lovely all the same.

  • I DONT GET IT! -.-

  • Your commentary = useless

  • lmfao

    you made my day

  • haha boyd

  • smoothly done

  • oh so you do it better?

  • thanks man

  • That's what it's supose to look like, slow and smooth..

  • when people do it it seem so smooth ,but if i go smooth, the first card will be expose, can any1 help me?

  • teaching in here = destroy

  • cool man

  • you don't have to use your thumb to move all the cards to an angle. it works fine with all the cards standing straight.

  • the bevel makes it easier though. especially for beginners.

  • please watch my tutorial.its without brakes, easier, more effective.

  • Really good.Thanks.

  • idiot

  • i can do double lifts without breaks.i am putting a tutorial very soon.check it out

  • wtf

  • It's ok to show the basics of card magic, there's nothing wrong with that, what i don't like is when somebody reveals the tricks...show the techniques, no the tricks please !!(forgive my english xD)

  • No, is not ok to show the basics of card magic. Is ok to buy books and videos, learn from the greaters and preserve the art.

  • the creators of these basic moves are long dead.

teaching these techniques is how we preserve the art.

only those interested in learning and practicing will watch this.

  • You don´t know that. And you can´t just assume it, because this is a massive media.

  • believe me this is doing no harm to magic. ordinary people honestly aren't interested in looking this stuff up. if they do, they forget anyway as they're not interested. and i bet i could show a layperson a few card moves, then instatly do a trick using those exact moves and completely fool them with it! easily.

  • This video has been watched by 68.000 people in 1 year, but I really hope you´re right.

    Regards.

  • @StreetMagic101 Exactly. Penn Jillette talked about that exact thing, about how he'd show people moves like palming a card and then right after that he would do a trick that involved palming a card, and the spectators still couldn't understand how it was done.

  • do not believe a word in that, you are completely and desperately wrong, apparently you are a layman.

  • Very good tutorial, much easier without sound :P

  • i still thinking that people can see through my trick, maybe its a kind of mental effect.

  • ok ur good..

  • that was ok except gettin ur break took a long time and was obvious.

  • Not obvious to the spectator though. They wouldn't have a clue what you are doing. Talk misdirection helps to cover the get ready anyway. My get ready isn't the quickest but I have never been questioned as to what I am doing.

  • wtf is wrong with that??? if ur skilled and dedicated enough 2 preform it then y not learn it?

  • Hmm..

It IS bad that anyone can check youtube out and discover all great secrets of magic, BUT, probably, most people who look at these videos are magicians themselves, and can take advantage of sharing tricks with others who know what they're doing.

I think it's worth it, in Sweden (where I live), no tricks are bad to perform because the audience have watched videos at youtube.

  • may i know how you did that fast, although i know the trick but me speed is too slow,i think

  • lol you should see mine

  • thx bro

  • Please Spam all the vids that destroys the illusions and the work for many years!!!!!

  • @pagelommi

    get a bicycle deck

    really smooth cards

  • Where can i get a bicycle deck outside the US ?

  • just get a bicycle deck

  • Tally Ho is also preatty nice ;)

  • Tally Ho is also preatty nice ;)

  • cant find LOL

  • are plastic coated cards the best kind to get? do they stay stiff and uncreased and smooth?

  • Your videos are quiet good, nice, and thanks

    keep it up

  • I don't have that smooth of cards...Do I need smooth cards for this trick anyone???

  • Yes for most tricks, you need good cards

not 1$ ones, like the ones I have right now :P

  • ummm... wtf... your other videos were great but this one lacks..

  • sorry, but i did not understand how to put the nine back und the black ten?!???

  • lajustice est aveugle...

  • the red 9 will always be below the blak ten

  • thx man. God bless.

  • I've watched a number of tutorials on the double list. At first I was concerned about the lack of commentary, but this really worked by letting the actions speak for you.

    Thank you.

  • so hard T.T

  • sweet mate serious big ups i think im gonna have to get some smoother cards to get away with this infront of people but this vid has really helped

  • i got my way to do it

  • Thank you for explaining this. It's quite nice. Even without a line of text.

  • So easy

  • i can see how that works very well, however i find it easier to grab the cards by the long side after flipping them over. there should be a gap due to shuffling them.

  • Cheers for the vid, helped alot

  • I practise that right away

  • lol thx man u helped a lot

  • hmm pinky breaks never really worked for me lol and thumb breaks look a smidgeon bit more natural...just becuase you can show your pinky moving around

  • thank you veeeeeery much!

  • oh dude thank you. that was very helpfull.

  • rubishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • ...wat!

  • wow your technique is awesome
