@MilPic1 Would you recommend the 24 or 72? I mainly use it for daily commuting, shopping for groceries and occasionally pack it up for a bike hike + bladder system. Have you had any troubles with the durability of the straps (torn etc) or anything like that? Is there a way to install a separate waist belt because I notice the 24 doesnt have a waist belt. In terms of size, would you actually say the 72 is too bulky for a person who is 167cm or you reckon the 24 suits better?
@shahzeeq go with the 24 then , works perfect until now for me and i used it quite some time now, nothing ripped , no , can`t say about attaching a waistbelt as i never wanted to do that ( as i have the 12 /24 & 72 no need either !)
by the way, the 12 comes with attachment for a waistbelt but is of course much smaller than the 24 !
I need an EDC but I tend to carry a lot. I was carrying a kifaru E&E but it is too small. I bumped up to my Kifaru Marauder but it is too big but mostly too heavy. 1000D Cordura is very heavy. plus naked the Kifaru has no organization. with a laptop.
I am looking at the Rush 72 but I think it is just too big for EDC. What has be sold on it is the stuff pouch on the front. I wish the Rush 24 had that. Any other packs that have stuff panel with the organization like the Rush 72?
@GetNReady101 i think the 72 is pretty roomy and fits most peoples need ( it is a bit expensive to have it standing in a corner ) , it always depends on how long you need to Bail out i guess
( i have an older pack alwys ready next to the door (earthquake etc.) and use the 72 regulary but if i could afford it i`d had one packed ;) !)
What is the total weight on this thing unpacked? I plan on using it for Every Day Carry. Also if your really into tactical packs you ought to check out Eberlestock
@SirIsaacNewtie never checked the weight , next time it is complete empty i will do that but that might take a while but it might be easier if you go and check that at your local dealer !?
wish you put the food in the 72 bag as a comparrison

So, just to be certain. When I go on patrol, I can fit 6 bananas, 30 slim jims, 4 cups of apple sauce, and a hydration bladder!
lol, just joking. Great video, I had wanted to know a realistic idea of how much someone could fit in one of these. Thanks.

If I may ask, can I also use the bag for weighted running. For example if I put some weights in the bag (10-20lbs) on the 72 ? Good video btw

Could you by any chance show if there is a way of attaching a mat (when hiking) rolled up somewhere?
Excellent vid, really shows the size of it, seems plenty big to go hikinh 2-3 days!
MrMooseful 1 year ago
@MrMooseful hm, there are some loops at the side but no real strings for a mat
or sleeping bag
2-3 days i would recommend the 72 version anyway
thanks again
