  • LOL -- ES too funny dying like a real ham :)

  • Maria calmly taking a sip and smiling after every fantasy was hilarious.

  • maria was one crazy bitch--and clint ritchie said his worst days on the set was any day he had ot work with BarBara Luna (maria)

  • so it wasn't ever easy for Ritchie to ever work with Luna?

  • Back in 1987, the way this scene played out made it appear that Maria really did fire that first shot at Viki, and I did a double-take for a second. Then, the camera went back to Maria's face, and I realized it was just her fantasy. After this scene aired, it was obvious that her days in Llanview were numbered.

  • Yet Maria's one of them characters that had to go.

  • Yes, Maria definitely had to go. OLTL did such a great job writing her gradual descent into homicidal madness that it made sense when she finally went completely over the edge.

  • where the scene right before this the fight between Maria and Viki at the court house when Maria slaps Tina

  • @JWns33 VIKI: "I found her and Tina standing here and she had slapped Tina across the face." LARRY: “She slapped Tina?” VIKI: “Yes! Yes, and I became absolutely furious, and Cord came here and she pretended she hadn’t done it! Well that did it for me! I just lost it completely and told him all about his mother’s involvement with Jessica’s kidnapping.” LARRY: “Alright, I think that’s a good thing.” .” VIKI: “I don’t think so, Larry! ...that woman's on the verge of a nervous breakdown..."

  • @themirrorsofmymind ... lol thanks

  • @JWns33 I used to have the 2 episodes that (were part of and) led up to this scene on an AUDIO cassette. So I remember most of the revelation, at Tina and Cord's divorce hearing, that Maria had used Alison to 'gaslight' Viki.

  • @JWns33 I finally typed out what I remember of the confrontation that led to Maria's revenge fantasy. I could send it to you in an email to your YouTube account because it's WAY TOO LONG to post in a comment. Want me to send it?

  • This was such a great scene and I loved Maria. OLTL was sooo good during the Paul Rauch years (heck, it was sooo good before Rauch too but these were just terrific for the time it originally aired)!

  • LOL This was too funny. Did you see the way Vicki was holding herself everytime she was shot.
