Aaaargh, this video would be half as long if it just got to the point. As a student trying to study and learn about respiration, I find having all this religion and theory debunking crap on top of it a waste on valuable time. The graphics are fantastic, and when talking about the ACTUAL TOPIC its rather fascinating. It had the potential to be a brilliant video - until the narrator went off on an irrelevant tangent.

Aaaargh, this video would be half as long if it just got to the point. As a student trying to study and learn about respiration, I find having all this religion and theory debunking crap on top of it a waste on valuable time. The graphics are fantastic, and when talking about the ACTUAL TOPIC its rather fascinating. It had the potential to be a brilliant video - until the narrator went off on an irrelevant tangent.

The author's technique is to use lots of accurate information, but then simply state that it's a miracle, refusing to look at it scientifically. He capitalizes on the scientific naiveté of most religious people to present his extremely unbalanced viewpoint. But aside from the annoying propaganda (annoying at least to anyone who is scientifically knowledgeable) , it's well-done.

It is not the message of religions (as per their ancient texts/bibles) that is the problem, but the people behind them who have become corrupt.
There is a creator of everything, and whether you want to call it god or not it is not something we should just 'forget'.
Forget about religions, sure. But be good to all around you and love life, that is our purpose, and that is god.

I'm all for religion, although I'm not religious myself. It has done many good things to people and humanity has done a lot of good things out of religious belief (it's also done some shockers). However, religion and science should be kept separate, and the priests and popes should stop interfering in scientific practices. If God didn't want us doing it, he wouldn't have made it possible. God isn't here to hold our hand all the way, we need to do some things for ourselves.

Every time i hear him say "god created this" or "god created that" and "god is the reason you live" i almost laughed myself out of the chair :D. 2009 and people still reject the reality and substitute it with their own. It's live or die in nature. The only way ensure survival is to develop new technologies and become better than the other beings, to use them to your advantage or die. That is the immense resolve of evolution, to live. Coincidence the true maker of life :D not some homemade "God".

Just because you believe in evolution it doesn't mean you deny the existence of a creator! Darwin himself believed in God and so did many christians for years afterward who also accepted evolution. Evolution is simply a part of creation not an explanation. I fail to understand how people can see it as disproof of god! If you choose to take profound and divine words literally then your always going to find yourself in conflict.

Excuse me? God does not control life? I believe he (supposedly) created life and that in His omniopotence, he can choose to intervene whenever he would like to, and His lack of intervention when the millions of people that were dying during World War 2 shows that He's a bastard.
