If you see a virus popup, it's a false trigger because it uses a file to uncompress the things needed. You can remove it after it is done installing, but it's a false trigger and not necessary. But then again, who reads the things before the installation that says that? It says it right in the textbox. No virus.

Greetings..I have not used this program in several months since getting a new camera that takes video in .avi which I use more than my camera that saves in .mov. The converter version that was used when I made this Youtube video did not convert into HD. I was mistaken at the time. Newer versions out now may but the version you see in the video did not. I never ran into subtitles in any of my videos when I did use the program since my videos were all made with my own camera so I cannot say what would be the problem as far as subtitle size or resizing them..Sorry :(
You still interested? Your videos have unsynced the audio and video still? I think it is because your output framerate isnt the same as the input framerate.
look it up on utube, most HD cams are 720i or 1080i the "i" meanining interlaced, which gives you a blurred image with lines running across the screen alnost un-noticable but noticeable when compared to de-interlaced video, meaning the interlacing is removed (look it up on utube.)
This is a very informative video. It helps me out a lot. However, I am still having trouble with one type of file, .mov . Yes. .MOV! I HATE THEM. But oh well. That is my camera's file and until i get better software than windows movie maker, it will have to do. Were you ever able to find the settings to make it work in Movie maker after converting it? I have not used SUPER in some time now due to getting a different camcorder that shoots in another format. BUT when I did use a camcorder that shot in .MOV I would put the .MOV file into SUPER and set all the settings such as frame rate and other settings that the .MOV file was shot in and set the Super converter to make a .WMV file. I never had any problems with any converted .WMV file in Windows Movie Maker. The specs for a .MOV file can be found by clicking on the original file in SUPER.
Once you load the .MOV file into SUPER, then double click on it at the bottom section of SUPER and it will bring up all the specs to that .MOV video. You want to then set all the specs such as aspect ratio, Frame/sec, bit rate the same as it was in the .MOV file. Then chose WMV from "Output container" and either "WMV8 or WMV9" in the Output Video Codec section. Also either WMA2 or WMA3 for Output Audio section. All .Mov to .WMV conversions have worked for me in Movie Maker.

When you use SUPER to convert a .MOV file to a .WMV file you would want to set the specs for the .WMV file to be the same as the specs. of the .MOV file. Meaning same aspect, frame rate, bit rate. Bit rate is very important to make sure the .WMV file will be as good of quality as the .MOV was.Load the .MOV file into SUPER then click on it to see all the specs of it and then set the converted .WMV file to the same or close to the same settings. Again as stated. Movie Maker does not make HD. :(
Windows Movie Maker does not render in HD. Your raw .MOV files do not work in Movie Maker either as you stated. This converter video was actualy edited & rendered using Camtasia Studio 6. Camtasia will let you use & edit your .Mov files into a HD format in the .MOV format. I also use Sony Vegas Pro to render videos into HD but it does not work the best with .MOV files so I convert them to .WMV files with SUPER first if I use the Sony program. Movie Maker is not for HD.
You can convert a .MOV file to a .WMV file and use the file in Movie Maker to edit & render it, but it will only make it as a HQ video for Youtube and not a HD file.
HQ is good because it keeps the file size manageable for a 10 minute video on Youtube whereas HD uses alot of size. I would suggest using Camtasia or Sony Vegas products if you really want to edit & render into HD for Youtube. Please watch this converter video completely to see how to view the specs of your .MOV files. Good Luck.
I am not familiar with psp or ps3 files or what the original file was before you tried to convert it. Make sure you check out the specs of the original file first such as bitrate, aspect ratio frame rate (fps), etc..and then make sure you set those same specs on the file to be converted to. Same with audio part of the file. Make sure the original file and the newley converted file have the same specs. All settings in new file should match the original file settings. Hope this helps. :)
I learned a good deal about Pro 8 right here on Youtube by typing Sony Vegas Pro 8 or words to that effect into Youtubes search and it brings up hundreds of how-to videos on just about anything related to Pro 8 including how to render into HD. After I made this SUPER video in HD I learned from how-to videos on better ways to render into HD and all the little tricks plus I made alot of test videos using different settings and uploaded and viewed them then deleted them after seeing the results
I really do not do much file conversion of audio. I load my present .mp3's to my ipod as is and use .mp3's as background audio in some videos but really have no idea about karaoke or the file format. Sorry :(
Any of the videos I have on here that are in HD were rendered to HD by using the Sony Vegas Pro 8 program. Any file format can be converted in SUPER to any other format. I usualy convert mine from .MOV to .WMV then put in the Sony program, add titles or other transitions and then render the finished video in HD to .WMV9 and then upload to Youtube.
If I use other video programs like Windows Movie Maker to make the video I still render it using the Sony program to get HD. Hope this helps You
In answer to your question about making a poor bit quality better. When you convert a file from one format to another you would want to at least make the new format file as good in bit quality as the original is. No matter how poor or low it was.
It will still make the video into HD when the proper program is used to render the file but I'm not totally sure on how much better the quality will look other than larger in size.
Not sure but I would assume that it has to do with the aspect ratio. Since most HD is shot in 1280x720 or larger it would need to be rendered in that same aspect ratio to maintain the image size correctly. I'm kind of new to HD so not sure on how it would be done in HD. :)
only thing i know that bitrate must be 1000 or 10000...cant remember exactly...i was able to compress the hd video and only thing that changed was bitrate to 128 and size went from 700mb to 150mb
I use the SUPER converter to change files from .mov to .wmv but I set .wmv file in SUPER to exact settings as the .mov file was. This means setting the bitrate at the same as it was in .mov file. If you do not do this, then the file size is smaller but also, so is the quality. I shoot video in HD on my camcorder then after converting it in SUPER, I render it in either Song Vegas Pro 8 or Vegas Studio Platinum 9 to .wmv9 which will then show as HD on YouTube.
This screen capture was made using Camtasia 6 to show the SUPER converter program. I then used Sony Vegas Studio 9 to add the titles and transitions and then rendered the video in HD using the Sony Vegas Studio 9 program.

The link is correct. You need to read the ads about it and keep clicking on some place that shows about "Downloading" it now or words to that effect. It will then show you mirrored sites to do the actual download. The newest version is available for download at this time. eRight software does not seem to make it easy to download by just putting a "download here" button link on the site. You just have to read between the lines to get it.

In Pro 8. Render as: Save as type-Windows Media Video V9. Template: 6 MbpsHD 720-30p video.
In "Custom" Set image size to 1280x720.
Format: Windows Media Video 9 29.970 (NTSC). Mode:CBR Under Bit Rate tab Check & set to Internet/Lan - 6M
This works for me to render to HD. I convert all files to .wmv9 first in SUPER.
.MOV files do not show audio when used in Pro8. (at least for me they don't) Hope this helps you. :)

Hi,
This screen capture was made using Camtasia 6 to show the SUPER converter program. I then used Sony Vegas Studio 9 to add the titles and transitions and then rendered the video in HD using the Sony Vegas Studio 9 program.

ffs i went through 3 pages until i got to a page without any download links for the programme i must have 10 different video converters atm all of them useless

where can i get the download link??? i went to the site you mentioned but i could not find any download link!

The link is correct. You need to read the ads about it and keep clicking on some place that shows about "Downloading" it now or words to that effect. It will then show you mirrored sites to do the actual download. The newest version is available for download at this time. eRight software does not seem to make it easy to download by just putting a "download here" button link on the site. You just have to read between the lines to get it.
