I think what makes this song instrumentally great, is the style it was written in. It has a ballad feel mixed with a country swing that not in the standard ballad time-signature. This would be a great cover if you accented a little more, palm mute a lot more, and give it a more swing feel. I would incorporate the bass lines more also. Beside that, good job. This is a suggestion I make to you only because I know you got the skills to improve this version, not to dis your playing at all.

The verse's basically repeat A-G-B-D-e-B-G-D. And honestly, the chorus is all over the place and doesn't really have a consistent pattern. All I can say is just play around with it & it'll come. (hope that helps)
