I tried having a normal conversation with a modern Feminist on FaceBook. I tried to be a reasonable gentleman, but she instead cut me off. I tried to tell her women weren't alone, & that even us men get victimized. I gave her a few examples from my own experiences.

The girl I was talking to on facebook is a 19ish yrs old college student who claims to be an actual Feminists. It really pains me how much these women mistreat people who don't agree with them. @DANCER720ful A person is being objectified when someone makes them look like they have no desires, no opinions, no rights. I've seen porn where people are objectified and there's nothing sexy about that. It's just boring and too unrealistic. The hot porn is when you're looking at people who are actually sexually aroused and want to be there and do what they're doing and have awesome orgasms.
If sex was't a taboo it would be a lot easier to find good porn. Instead, it's mostly made for pervs.

@lajungesombre When it comes to biological imperatives, yes evolution and the resulting biology have the greatest effect. On our sexuality, on our love for children or anything resembling children. No amount of life experience is going to make me not want to have sex with women anymore. I will always find them attractive and desirable because i was born with that as a part of me. Its pretty simple. Anything you weren't "experienced" into you wont be "experienced" out of.

@Nonsensei436 When it comes to being human, biological imperatives rank pretty low. If we had small brains and big bodies, maybe we would be driven more by biological imperatives. That gender is so much more expansive than sexuality and that art, music, literature, and drama speak to sexuality unequivocally show that highly conscious animals like us are driven more by mental imperatives than biological imperatives

I don't usually agree with you, TAA, but I have to say you sum up the relationship between the sexes very well...
"Women provide sex to get love, and men provide love to get sex."
That's about as true as it gets, although certainly not 100% of the time, there are women who want sex just for the sake of it (although I've never met one) and there are men who want love more than they want sex (although I've never met one), this does nothing to change the overall genetic condition of the sexes.

I tried having a normal conversation with a modern Feminist on FaceBook. I tried to be a reasonable gentleman, but she instead cut me off. I stated to her that I supported the equal rights, the right to vote, & the right to be as successful as men. She said she was a Feminist because women being socially victimized. I tried to tell her women weren't alone, & that even us men get victimized. I gave her a few examples from my own experiences.

Instead of actually reading over my points, she instead shunned me. I beg you, I was open-minded with her. She eventually unfriended me & blocked me. This girl took a simple conversation too far. The girl I was talking to on facebook is a 19ish yrs old college student who claims to be an actual Feminists. It really pains me how much these women mistreat people who don't agree with them. Any feminist who does not address the negative impacts of sexism on men as well as how the intersecting identies of class,abelism,and racism contribute to oppression does not fully understand how inequality and oppression operates. I see how gender norms as sexism effect the men closest to me in my life.

@jgar6 Its not the patriarchal society, it's other humans. Men without a society are even more aggressive. You can't just feminize all aggression out of men and even if you did men wouldn't be happy because they would not be themselves. Men don't need to run around beating people per say but they do have the desire not to be meek docile puppy dogs all their life living in fear of condemnation for not being feminine enough.

Again NO sucessful movement was won by individuals alone. Only when people band together does real change take place.
