Best camera I ever bought. I use it in Final Cut Pro and iMovie. I'm enjoy the "digital cinema" mode more than just the regular settings. Beautiful footage simplydv! Thanks for posting!
@timothymustoe I'm having trouble with exporting my tm20 footage in Final Cut EXPRESS. I use quicktime conversion, h .264 codec high quality and 1920 x 1080 size with de interlace source video checked when I export. Still, my exported video is interlaced, and stutters. What settings do you use when you export with final cut, and would the canvas size affect my export? Thanks for the help.
@bluesmanjames I don't use Final Cut Express, but this was done in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 on Mac OS10.5. What I normally do is to export the timeline sequence using Adobe Media Encoder and select a progressive frame option there. I will usually produce both a 1080p and 720p option. If you get stutter, experiment with different settings. I often export the seq "as is" and then code using MPEG Streamclip, which is free. Try installing the freebie x264 codec which is very good.
@snowboarderBrady You can edit on any program (Mac or PC) that supports AVCHD import and editing. For this sequence I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 on a Mac although I also use Apple Final Cut Pro 3 when the mood takes me!
