and to clarify

Both Chanter and Cleric can equip all the same things, in cluding mace/shield and staff. I'm not 100% sure but i think alot of chanters skills require staff (not sure).

Chanters are better Meelee/Buffs, but can do range/heals.

Clerics are better Ranged/heals, but have a few meelee/buffs.

Both are essential to any group.

chanter's skill don't really require staff... it really doesn't matter if the character is using a mace or a staff :)

man listen Im tired of explaining this(I played korean version) as a preist which is one of the 4 main classes(warrior, scout,mage, and preist) once you reach a certain lvl you can choose the patch of a cleric or chanter, so they are the same. Happy to inform you

no it's not the game will be p2p but it will be gaming card(buy off line or from your local gaming store) they have a 3months, 6months and 1yr card so you only be paying one time untill 3months up unlike WoW. So not really expensive

well Im only telling you how the korean version works, but ncsolf stated it will be p2p so Im guess it will work somthing like the payment mother I explained. Yeah. Make a chanter. The priest is the starting class, but after enough leveling you pick between a cleric (think WoW priest) or chanter (think WoW Paladin). Chanter have more powerful buffs but lesser healing and can fight better than cleric.

And of course, cleric has awesome healing, can fight but not better than chanter.

I believe they can, yes. They can choose between a mace + shield or battle staves where clerics get a choice to use wands. I've seen videos of chanters using the battle staves in combat, and it's pretty sweet. Some of the fight animations are almost ripped exactly from Kilik in the Soul Calibur series (which is a good thing IMO)

At level 10 you do a LONG ASS QUEST to get your wings. Cool thing is that this game already has fantastic graphics. The gameplay seems solid as well so this game really has nowhere to go but UP. If the economy sucks, it can get better. I dont know if some of you NOOBS remember what WoW was like but YOUTUBE WoW Beta. It sucked COCK!!!! This game is already amazing.

I think it's just a glorified Lineage (1&2), also made by NC Soft. Most skills and spellss look like the unes in those games just graphically improved.

Also how can there be intermediate ingame cutscenes in an mmo. When a cutscene happens does the char disappear from the map or becomes invulnerable?

Priest is the first name of the level in level 10 you can uppgrade your priest to Chanter or Cleric :) like Lineage
