You 100% right. Old American humor is a lot better than today. It's all about potty humor and poop jokes today. Old humor was more sosphisticated, the stooges was more of visual humor but it still is a lot better than movies like "Daddy Day Camp" and "Are We There Yet?". Even modern cartoons aren't funny. Someone blowing up a port-a-potty with someone in it is not funny in my opinion. Some accidently putting the car in gear on a steep hill or dropping a piano is funny.
