Certes le chef est "assez pressé" par moments,ce qui est regrettable...l'orchestre à parfois des sonorités douteuses...le ballet par contre est bien rendu...
Monter un tel opéra et en respectant l'époque qu'il relate n'est pas une mince affaire non plus...on voyait cela couramment sur les grandes scènes françaises dans les années 60 ...et ailleurs aussi.

I like it very much because the actors are putting a piece of modern day culture in it so i can see some african dance in it . and fact is that in the old days the nubiers where great dancers too.. so thanks you one more time to share this experience with us hope to hear from you again my friend
Seriously this is the poorest version of Aida i have ever seen. The stage looked like fiasco in a fish market, and everyone looked like they don;t know what they are doing. And the funniest part was the ballet dancers in white.They looked like Turkish belly dancers but in the pharonic era,i can't stop laughing.
If the direction is Turkish i believe they should stick to Turkuler and leave Opera to whom may do it professionally.
