hell i would of just bladed a road across lol 20 X easier and then used the excavator to clean the road up for the water to run. because running a dozer like that will easily cost u $ and in a hurry.
you know its not a truck its a dozer you don't hit shit in top gear wide open. yes the blade is for pushing but not designed to take shock loads like that. and you would have made it through much better if you would have went at an angle. Why do you think creek crossings are never stright across?
My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years by the German BND which is the renamed GESTAPO.He was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage linked on my channel.
I have ran a nw 963 which is about he same size and the 93 is easier to operate and quicker but the 977 seems to have more power and can take bigger buckets. I use it mostly here in Pa moving dirt/trees off the top quarries. Im a flag stone provider. I also have a JD 450B track loader and a cat 245C excavator
yup its a beast and has the pedals and levers for th steering. 2 lever levers to operate the boom and bucket. I bought it over a yr ago and thats what I learned on. Im only 22 so this thing seems prehistoric to me. Works good tho
point i was trying to make was if you think ahead you can do the job with them small tracks ,its a very small part of it ,if you know how to work mud you can do it with anything evena track loader,im sure them old timers wher u work will tell u ,u can teach someone to run the tractor in 10 minutes but if they dont know what to do with it they will be lost
i spent 4 years in the rock quarries stripping overburdon when i was a youngster then they put me on the 988/992 i thought i was big shit feedin the plant from the main pit till the finally let me on the d10 but i kept falling alseep cause i got a short attention span and production dozing is just plain boring ,if im not building something im not happy but gday keep on bugging them till they let you on it,only way to learn
oh i thought you were resonding to the smart ass comment i made about the guy in the vid being a clown on the cat cause he sure as hell dont know what to do,anyways good on ta keep pluggin away at it
then why the hell are u emailing me ,thats not you in the video? and no im not an apprentice i dont really give a rats ass who you are but you sure to talk a big game lets see it post it up ,operating engineers local 12 here ,run d4c with slope boards d6,140h yes i run blade too,d8t d10n,623,657 p/p ,set grade and certified structural and bridge welder and heavy duty repair on the side and your qualifications?
thing is we see how you operate on the fucking video lol talk is cheap proof is right there in the vid keep in the slot sonny leave the finish slopes to the pros when your ready to go sideways on it please make another video
do u know what a c-frame advantage over draft arms is?hmmm how bout the advantages to the newer style hydrostaic trans over steering breaks? shall i go on? but i dont know what im talking about
how bout the segment gears on the high tracksor the bottom idler bogeys make sure u check them in your prestart ,know how to tighten the tracks with a grease gun? i didnt think so,when do you change the corner bits and cutting edges?hmm u dont know? yea ok how many hours you getting out of your undercarriages?judging by the way you run less than 2000,wonder how many hours that motor lasts oh maybe 12000 before it needs an inframe
do you even know what float is? they dont float the dozer on airbags float is the position of the blade allway forward with no hydrolic pressure applied...the blade just floats on the ground ,they dont have magic pads to float you through the mud learn how to operate sonny then u can talk shit lol float through the swamp thats a good one
dont matter if u got lgp or not u got to work with what u have ,lower the fucking blade and cut the mud off as your going through it so you get to dryer hard dirt and itll walk right through it dont matter what size the grousers are,ive ran on slopes that fucking wet ,but yea i dont know anything about it,i can only cut a 1/2 tenth for 300 ft bringing down a 2:1 slope with a board on a skinny ass bench for drainage with a grade checker running to keep up ...but i dont know shit gday sir
They certainly are but as a plant fitter, that kind of carry on in a machine makes mecringe. The material can easily go up around the transmission and engine and yes it can cause damage especially if it rips a hose of and the engine is at full grunt
Well listening to everyone... he should have put the blade up until he was up the other side... then put it down for the weight.. he slowed down because he dug into the bank which fked it up....
I love all the "experts" on here... 'I would have done this. He should have done that.' blah, blah, blah. We all run heavy machinery and we all know there are good ways and bad ways to do everything... get over yourselves. No matter who you are, there is always someone out there that is a better operator than you. Yes, better than you. Get over yourself... Geez.
umm.. yeah lowering the blade will help. I own and operate a D6 hightrack, and a 490 JD excavator. Putting the blade dwon into the ground will put weight on the back of the machine and give it more traction.
If youve ever ran equipment ( which im beginning to doubt ) you know that getting stuck happens. as for the 'how to' comment, he got across didnt he? theres only one was to cross that creek, and he took it.
@77steel it looks like a D5N im only 11 and have been operating for 7 yrs and u should have put it in first gear and it would have gone right through and if u want to go mudding get u a 4 wheeler be bulldozers arent for that(yes i can operate a bulldozer)
@77steel lol my ass kid, what do you have 10 hours on the thing?
If you´ve had more you would know there is more than one way to ¨skin a cat¨ # 1 you do not race through anything. Go back ward, it wasn´t even close to being stuck! fool!
@blackdogleg you asshole, i wasnt operating the thing. i was thirteen and just decided to video when the guys that leased our land got stuck. so dont be a dick.
@blackdogleg why dont you just find something better to do than sit around and watch youtube videos all day? i posted this video because i thought it was funny and thought others might too, not for idiots like you to criticize it.
that poor poor machine....... why didn't they just fill the creek in a bit.... they have the tools to do it....
