I know that this is a comedy and the dog was in no danger at all. But this is still the scene that made me frown. This happens to little dogs all the time. And they aren't slowly carried away, most people don't even realize a bird of prey swooped down and flew off with their puppy. The talons can rip into their sides and puncture their lungs.Even being dropped from a small height can break their tiny bones. My pup was almost picked up my a hawk and I don't find it funny at all...

That eagle is a Wedged tailed eagle native to AUSTRALIA not Alaska. It's thought that its ancestors broke off from the Golden Eagle line. So it either escaped from the zoo or the producers didn't think anyone would notice.
