Well, you'll need iTunes to use your iPod :P I'm sure there's a plugin for simplify media on the ir website (check the video for a link).

Did you add your username that you created on your computer to the one on your iPhone? Number two, make sure any firewall software you have isn't blocking SimplifyMedia. Number three, do you have the latest version of Simplify media?

And lastly, iTunes may have been updated so that it is no longer compatible with the latest version of Simplify Media. In that case, you just have to wait. Try checking their help section if all else fails.

sorry... I have NO idea what you're trying to ask. If you do this, your music (if it isn't on your iPod ) will NOT be saved to your iPod, but rather will be able to be accessed as long as you are connected to the internet.

one thing i don't fully grok, though: why would i install the Simplify app on iPhone to do what i can already do through my iPhone's Safari browser?

How would you go about doing that? Don't forget, you don't have to be on your local network to do this. And because this is for streaming audio rather than the screen (like a VNC viewer) your audio quality will be better.

thanks :D. The software is for people who have like a 16 gig iPod and 60 gigs of music. I use it with VNSea to update my podcasts and remotely listen to them... it comes in handy.
