If you want a snoot, just use your SB800 instead of your alienbees, pick up a piece of cardboard and a pair of scissors and cut out a snoot! ^_______^

@TzumB I've done that with a piece of shipping tube, and I've seen ones where people have used soda straws packed into the tube to straighten the light. It works decently... but I will buy a "for real" one sooner or later :)

This is actually a great subject for my interests, I've been playing with high-key filters in my software suite but I can't achieve a decent shot, I obviously need to capture the photo with the intent to deliver the high-key look....

@Mehldaujazz Jon - just go crazy experimenting. I do like to get the right look right out of the camera, but I will be sharing one of my "secret weapons" in the near future. Oh, and it's free! Marketing genius, eh? If only I had a real product to market!
