@Ryanmac317 well for being a Marine, run all the time, Marines love to run. and to be a sniper, first its a 2nd MOS so you have to go through infantry school first. and then try to go out for that. but the best advice i can give for that is math, alot of fucking math. read up on it and do good in math is the best thing for that, oh and stay fit.

Lucky for me I'll be able to enlist! I fucked up my life throughout my first two years of high school but I cleaned up my act, sober for almost 6 months, and last time I went to court I told the judge about my sobriety and wanting to join the Marines and he told me if I could complete a year of unsupervised probation, he will wipe my record clean so I can enlist. @jonjon431 You do realize that Rangers are a lot tougher right? Their up there with SEALs, Green Berets, Marine Recon, etc, etc. A basic Marine is no where near the level of a Ranger. 75th Rangers are a part of SOCOM.

Marine Boot Camp = 90% pass rate

Ranger Assessment & Selection Program (RASP) = 40% Pass rate (And these are guys that have been through basic training, and are much more fit than average due to preparation for RASP.)
