  • ......does this ute still hold the record?

  • anyone know what trans this used to be? hahaha

  • Probably because it's spinning those big nigger wheels.

  • cowl isn't big enough

  • push 4 all the time to see the guy dancing to the flames XD

  • they really fucked that car in the ass

  • chev power

  • holden with statesman front end

  • well atleast the engine survived riiiiight? ^^

  • tough wb ute

  • Nur um zu Gewinnen zeihen die die Karre im Zweiten lauf bis zur Maximalen drehzahl bis der Motor verreckt O.ô Das tut doch beim Zugucken weh :D Ohne mist^^

  • what kind of car is it? Looks like a Cadillac in the front mixed with an El Camino.

  • @chaseman94 Holden i think , not quite sure

  • @chaseman94 holden wb ute

  • @ thesamandnath, the bloke with the mullet was actually jake edwards, the builder and tuner. national was about to obliterate 2000 hp!!!

  • There is no excuse for whatever he's deliverin to be late .

  • If that was my car/truck thing, IT WOULD NOT be on the dyno. EFF that.

  • Man if that was my car i'd be PISSED..

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm droooooooooooooooooop

  • badass

  • Trust the owner to have a mullett lol

  • Lot of power for a gearbox to hold together under. Finding a trans that will hold up will be expensive. I wish him luck...

  • Transmission blows: LETS RUN IN THERE WITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER!

  • @imagod00d How bout trans fluid and red hot pipes? wouldnt be first time a car caught fire because of fluid on the exhaust, its not something they'd risk for the sake of not carrying a fire extinguisher 10 meters.

  • @saintluke87 However I'm not convinced that there are any fluids that are volatile. The only volatile fluids would be the fuel. You make a good point though, as there is a possibility that a fuel line could have been damaged/split during the time the gearbox went kaput.

  • @imagod00d i have seen brake fluid catch fire after leaking onto hot extractors

  • argue and call each other names all you want. i for one see a vehicle that just putt down 1900+hp. and that was at the point the tranny got scared and ran away. would love too see what that beast can do with heavier box in it.

  • great now it can be scraped and recycled into better cars.

  • The transmission was like "1700 HP, really? Fuck this shit. I am outta here."

  • @Rileyman2rr I agree with you man too much power haha

  • @Rileyman2rr aahahahahah

  • lookin like a fool with yo trans on the ground

  • should have gotten a auto tranny for it, look what happens when you miss shift.

  • @OneUnggoy~ It WAS AN AUTO!!!

  • DYNO = A car killer.

  • Uh oh, his car did a wee

  • Sweet now my 1989 Chevy Corsica 4 cylinder has more horsepower then this car.

  • @sr1215cl TOOL!

  • wow thats some power in that car but i think you should make a little bit stronger of a trany though lol

  • Time for a PPG setup

  • Dynos are hursh things and are extremely demanding on your car as we see here it will always find the weak spot.I always tell people before we do there car to think twice about it cause no responsobility taken when shit goes bang on the dyno.

  • @spannerpro i want ur job, thrash the crap outa other peoples cars

  • too much VTEC

  • @XMcEvilson Virtually, Torqueles Economie Car ;)

  • looks like that Transmission couldn't handle that much Horsepower....

wonder if it took the Engine with it.

  • no its a shame us aussies cannot build real muslce cars, the holden and ford are both piece of craps.

  • @mikej5337 And if you werent a complete fuck head you would know that their both american cars, Ford being itself and Holden being a branch of Cheverlet

  • @18DBest i already know that. so that still means aussies cant built a car.

  • @mikej5337 oh and I suppose you do know how to? stop talking yourself up and just sit down and watch youtube videos like you came on here to do.

  • @18DBest Did you really just call Holden an American car? Sure GM owns holden , GM own toyota also, are they american cars?

Pull your head out your arse, champ. Holden headquaters are in Australia, the cars are designed by Australlians and built by Australians. Who gives a fuck what the parent company is.

  • @Antifaith29 My friend, you don't know what you are talking about. Holden was a subsidiary OF GM when they entered the automotive field back in 1931, who do you think they learned from, as well as were infleunced by since that point in time? GM simply took over the reigns later on, but that doesn't change the fact that Holden learned what it did through collaborating with General Motors all those years. Kindly give credit where credit is due, and get over the anti-GM rhetoric....

  • @StreetLethalRacing Mate, i do know what im talking about, i work for holden. I dont see any americans building the cars. I know where holden comes from, i have no problem with GM , what i do have a problem with is every second ignoarnt fuckwit american comming along on every one of these posts saying " oh this and that part of the car is american therfor the whole car is american, america rule the world yippie!" It gets fucking old and boring real fast.

  • @StreetLethalRacing So Does that mean that GM is learnt from Mercedes??? Afterall Mercedes built the first internal combustion engine powered vehicle. You're typical ignorant, "the whole world revolves around us" seppo mate. Just admit that you've been outdone, that Aussie engenuity and know how have left you guys reeling. Grow up homo!!

  • Should've been driving a Mopar!

  • blew the box and tail shaft give a fuck when you that number up on the screen. good work i want one.

  • Boy, you Aussies know how to blow the guts out of a transmission!

  • Us Aussies also know how to build real muscle cars and do the best burnouts

  • @robkal56 The irony is, Holden would have pushed them just as hard, if not harder in prototype testing. The smallest of GM's manufacturers turns out some of the best. Their idea of "testing" a transmission, is pushing it UNTIL it breaks. If that breaking point is too low, then they go back to the drawing board

  • Amazing figure, you would be spewing that you didn't hit 2000 though.

  • this must be close to 3000hp at the engine... thats insane for pump fuel

  • i kno rite... DAMN!!!

  • mate its not on pump fuel its a 572ci that runs on methanol.

  • are you sure... i thought horespower heroes had to use pump fuel... correct me if im wrong but a few years ago the RDRUNR rx3 got done for having octane boost, i doubt they would allow methanol.. unless the rules changed.

  • yer mate im pretty sure coz thats my boss's ute

  • Whats in it 308 fucink made mince out the tailshaft the liquids looked nasty

  • thats y u get the trans thats rated to 3000hp

  • fucking crazy

  • he would of made 2000hp IF they had a dyno there rated more then 2000hp

  • Comment removed

  • AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!

  • man nice, almost 2000 get it built better and do a nother vid and let me kno.

  • i'd break too with that much torque on me

  • beats the hell outa a standard 253

  • this thing was ment to make 3000 hp this year did a gear bag at jakes paformance on friday when tuning it

  • i heard they had packed the tray with over 200kg of cement, and that was still not enough. Two huge huffers and a blow through setup, not bad for 8 weeks worth of work

  • that is wat u call power

  • what fucken legends!!!!

  • This car is in Edition 30 of Ignition DVD. It had a Turbo 400 Trans in it that blew, and when it shattered the bottom of the casing, it went screaming backwards, ripping off the entire exhaust and muffler. Much better footage on the DVD and they actually show you the mangled exhaust aswell.

  • Oh...BTW...that equates to around 1500KW after the conversion from HP.

  • blimey mate, showing your age, no-one uses kilowatts anymore :)

  • im a KW dude, and im 17.. lol

  • wrong way round much? hp is the old measurement, kw is the new, hp is still what is used by just about anyone short of new car salesmen

  • looks like you guys found the line you should'nt cross.bugger.

  • Does anyone realize how ridiculous that HP is. HOLY FUCKEN SHIT.

  • Unless you can forge everything on this beast powertrain then the torque was always bound to fuck it all up.

  • i watched the whole vid the gearbox blew up first and took out the tail shaft

  • i wonder what gearbox it was

  • by the looks of it, obviously the propshaft hitting the ground is bad, but the coolant pouring out after probably means its blown rings and gaskets when the drive train locked up. Total overkill with power, but was always gonna blow up one way or another.

  • HOLY SH*T

    THATS CRAZY

  • 572ci of big block chev with twin holset turbos JUST THE sheer torque of this THING would of turned summernats inside out

  • mother f'''cker thats powerful

  • I belive it was both the transmission and the tail shaft

  • the tail shaft broke not the gearbox
