my thoughts: the maker of the site (al1) is the same guy as the one who solves it! the only gap is that this video is published 6 years later... why would he wait that long?
@tabbenator looked like a pretty modern train, probably had wifi, when he went to the yellow box he had a laptop bag so he could've uploaded it during the train ride.
my point of view is that al1 died, because he was alone, he was unidentified, i have a feeling fortress would go atleast somewhat missed.
look at the shovel pictured near the beginning, used to bury the money. then look at the one he's holding when he is on the bus later on. it's the same one. so it is fake.
