@kbonezz Actually it's precision on the part of the Marine pilot(s). They have protocols to folow on how and where to 'land' the chopper. Do you know they always land on the same exact spot on the White House's lawn and those wheels MUST land on top of just three small pads in the lawn just big enough to accomodate the wheels. Precision is the key. If they're off a couple inches then they miss those landing pads. Those wheels must not touch the lawn at all.

Very interesting display of the "Shell Game" used where 3 of the choppers are used for landings, then upon takeoff, the other two will rejoin the formation for a flight to Andrews AFB, Camp David, or wherever...though sometimes overseas they just use two. Gone are the days of using just one chopper for Marine One or Marine Two...

Actually, yes, there is a difference.

But anyway, has it ever occurred to anyone that a name is just a name? Ever since bin Laden showed up, the name "Osama" has become synonymous with "terrorist," and that's just a load of ignorant bullshit...

Also note that I'm obviously NOT condoning the actions of al Qaeda and other terrorist groups, it's just ridiculous that people make generalizations based on something as superficial as a name.
