@47965 almost every car has "strut towers" they are part of the unibody chassis. the hardware youre thinking about is called a strut tower bar, and no, it would not have helped. these cars all have ridiculous roll cages stiffening them up, they dont need some frilly bar adding weight up front.

also, i drive a lot of different shit, some people have more than one car you know.

seriously, go buy a geo or something, dont ruin a good daily driver like youre doing with intakes from Auto Anything.

And yes my intake is one of my biggest regrets, but i was young and new into modding. Now i have a trully better grasp on modification. I now have tinted taillights, and a greddy EVO II exhaust. All installed by me.The intake i have is actually good, all the reviews for it are good. also my car is a good daily driver but it has too much potential and is held bak, dont hate

As for suspension i know the bare basics, nothing techinal. Engine performance is all i look up durring school. And i mostly "study" my car and not others so i have no idea of what this cars weak points may be.

@47965 if you are driving a first generation RSX then you have the K20A3 motor in your car which is a 16 valve dual overhead camshaft motor with a variable valve timing system (called iVTEC).

@47965 Lol it was sold to you as 160hp, but you are probably making 130 to the wheels(if not less), and after spending all of the money on intake, exhaust, and ecu(you sound like a twat that would but those ebay chips that do nothing. Only reason you'd need a tune is for a turbo or something major) and there is no way you'll be seeing anywhere close to even 20hp gains much less 30-40. So in the end you are making maybe 145 to the wheels, and that's on a good day.

@OMGItsWeasel those are the type-s rims, for the 02-04, the regular ones look very basic. and the 05-06 came with an a-spec package with even diff rims. you said you had a problem with me commenting on something mechanical, i wasnt commenting on anything mechanical i was commenting on suspension, how maybe a strut tower bar could had help. you said that would be too much weight on the front end,look at the video he had no grip on the front wheels so maybe that would have worked?lookbak at posts
