@47965 almost every car has "strut towers" they are part of the unibody chassis. the hardware youre thinking about is called a strut tower bar, and no, it would not have helped. these cars all have ridiculous roll cages stiffening them up, they dont need some frilly bar adding weight up front.

Only reason you'd need a tune is for a turbo or something major) and there is no way you'll be seeing anywhere close to even 20hp gains much less 30-40. So in the end you are making maybe 145 to the wheels, and that's on a good day.
