you have no idea what your talking about, this album is pretty much pop metal so wheres the innovation, don't get me wrong its a good album, but WTF are you talking about, Octavarium, Train of thought, SDOIT, and of course scenes from a memory, clearly you have never heard any of those albums.. all definitions of innovation.

I´ve read somewhere that on this tour in Europa, he got even more fans to his show than Dream Theater´s, and sold out double as many t-shirts as DT. He was suprissed that he had "beaten" his main band.

the setlist was mostly E.O.P with a few pics from mullmuzzler namely "Shores of Avalon" which is still one of my favorite songs. I wish james would have made one of his shows into a dvd. And hate to broadcast this especially to those upset that they couldnt see him but that show was absolutely incredible

Well. I have also wondered why james has such a little input in DT-music, and on Portnoys website he got that question by a fan, and answered that James has been in DT so long without bringing in anything, so they work better without him. That James would ruin their special musicmanship, becouse he´s new to that section of DT. James respects that.

My point is that DT would actually be a better band if James contributed. Its obvious that his contributions are musically relevant from all his solo work. The idea that James would ruin thier "special musicianship" is preciecely why DT is a mere shadow of the inovation they brought to the table a decade ago.

i dont about that, i mean your entitled to your opinion and doubtless soem other DT fans agree with you but I think DT are as good as they have ever been especially with systematic chaos, also they are as big as they have ever been in sense of album sales, chart position, ticket sales so i perosnally think they are better now, btw James' voice is fucknig rocking here lol hope it is as good at download
