@krltgop if its auto idk how you'd get them spinning that much, but other then that, with manual, you hurt the clutch by popping it...other then that its just stress on the tranny and engine..wont hurt too much to do once, but everyday and your car wont last long lol...i also sugest not doing it for aslong as this guy did

@crazylilman7 um, i jus looked up all of the stock stats, and Gm never put a 5 speed auto in the 3rd gen J bodies. Not to mention that the 2.4 makes 150 bhp, and the 2.2 only makes like 98 to 100 on a good day. And you didnt specify whether yours is a z24 or jus a 2.2, and either motor would take a LONG time to 150. Not callin you out, jus a lil confused i gess.

@JAMES420forslayers exactly, the cars have many aftermarket parts, and GM has built the most powerful 4cyl yet, i believe it was 1200hp out of a 2.2 ecotec, a stock cavalier motor. And in comparison to it's competitors it's the most powerful and i'm not positive if it's the lightest of them all, but it's pretty damn light.

After i watched this vid i went to a big ass straight road and got my cav to 105. It is a 97 and has a shit ton of miles though

i had my old 95 sunfire up to 115 with 290k..just take care of these cars and they will last forever, that sunfire lasted to 380k..it was still running fine but but body was too rough
