Too bad the bluray disc is exactly the same as the regular disc for this movie. I thought my bluray disc was a DEFECT so i returned it at block-buster. But it turns out, the makers of the movie gave it that blur for the oldschool comic look. Right now even the blurays are only19.99 because they come out exactly the same. You can't fix the blur

Its because your seeing it from a distance from youtube. I also thought that there was a defect on my BLURAY 300 disc, but it turns out the makers of the movie made it like that in purpose, Alittle bit blurry. They made it like that to give it that oldschool comic look. I returned it because I asked the same question u did. So basically there is no point in paying double for a bluray disc on this movie. Hope this helped.

yamasnik. Please have a clue before talking. Not every country dubs movies with their own language. Holland for example never does that. Not with dvd's, not in cinema's and not on general television. There are rare occasions where this happens and thats english cartoons so that the children understand whats going on, but even some of those are kept in english.
What's with the black bars? isn't it supposed that when you buy one of these TVs you don't get those bars anymore? what's the use then to have widescreen if you're still gonna get black bars? Even if it's not anamorphic video you shouldn't get the bars.

But professional multimillion dollar movies are filmed in anamorphic widescreen which is wider/narrower than regular 16x9. So, there is fullscreen (4x3) widescreen (16x9) and then there is anamorphic widescreen which gives the audience a wider "window" to see through due to the film camera's wide lenses. You might get the black bars but you see a lot more of the video.

THis looks like the same model TV I have. It's great I use it with my PS3 and my PC its' great. would truly recommend buying this. Full 1080p
