Nicolas Jaar quietly offered up a new track, "And I Say", a few weeks ago. Featuring a vocal contribution from Scout LaRue, the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, the track's speckled with hand drums and a saxophone line from Will Epstein, loping with the predatory stalk of a big cat.
"We said we'd make music together and one day she came over and I said: "Scout, I have this track all about sex and that's all I'm interesteid in this track being about." So we wrote lyrics, we had this strange, baroque, almost Shakespearian idea of this queen and this story of a strange forbidden love in the middle ages. I tried to make the track sexier and sexier.
