It does work and is workable, but the setup for the car is about $750 or more, not to mention the pumping and filtering stuff for the house. It's not really about saving money, but to make a statement about the environment. I would remove the glycerin from the fuel myself, but I admire your initiative in recycling and burning something that does require wasting something else.

your prefiltration system is interesting. i use a turkey fryer to heat it then electrically pump it through a filter. very awesome setup my friend.
