this, along with many worse things that happen at farms or any meat suppliers, is all because of such high demand from consumers and the fact the our demand for meat is higher than what the supply is. if no one ate meat then this wouldn't be going on.

It's kind of messed up seeing how your food comes to be..BUT we do need to eat..it's sad that things happen the way they do ...BUT they do and life goes on..MAYBE not for those chicks but life does go on....I've made a film that shows that not all chickens have such a horrible end to thier lives...rubber chicken:a love story(better version)...some chickens do ok for themselves....one love

The consumer blames the producer for supplying it, the producer blames the consumer for buying it. The thing is, the producer will not like to show how the cheap chicken ha been farmed. As soon as programme's like Jamie's & Hugh's investigate, they shut up & batton down the hatches.

nuggets and rubbish like that are made from ex battery hens that are about 60-70 weeks old.

The standard chickens you buy in supermrkets are about 35-39 weeks old.

sickens me to the bone to think what we do to these poor animals. We have our own chickens now and wont buy any egg or chicken produce from " farmed animals "
