  • Yes, this movie is full of continuity errors but the only one about this scene that gets me is how the window doors just flung themselves open!

  • No.....why did I watch this again?! The nightmares will start again!!!! 20 years of supressing that headless witch part down the drain!

  • i always thought mombi says "i'll stop you... hot dog!" but she's actually saying: "ha! dorothy gale". lol

  • this is my FAV-OUR-ITE movie. the score should have won an oscar.

  • "His brains ran down." I can't tell you how many times that has happen to me. An then asked somebody to wind me back up again.

  • This film was so batshit it's brilliant.

  • Wow! Jean Marsh was nothing short of brilliant as Mombi. That perfomance was incredible and the movie is outstanding. It's certainly of my favorites.

  • i bought this movie early today & was watching it with my nieces & nephew. i forgot how much i loved it! but my nephew, he's 2, closed his eyes at this part. lol :D

  • MOMBI'S AWAKE!!

  • i love her gold thing she wears on the neck it looks so cool.

  • this film is so dark

  • wow i never realised how scary this is! and i wasnt scared when i was 7!

  • Weaugh....Teaugh.... PEAUGH!!!!

  • PEAUGH?!?!?

  • AAAAAHHHH that is so scary!! I use to watch this when I was little and I never got scarewd though go figure HAHA

  • Mombi: "WHERE'S MY POWDER OF LIFE?!"

I love that quote. Return to Oz is such an amazing film! I love it alot! :)

  • jesus christ i remember this scene when i was young i was so scared i couldnt sleep for days afterwards!

  • Man, this is weird... I don't remember a few parts of this scene. I've watched this movie a thousand times, and I just watched the tape of it yesterday! Maybe the version that my family taped off of the Disney channel over a decade ago cut out some stuff...

  • yeah the disney channel edited out all the headless body stuff. when i got my DVD i was so lost!

  • How could they do that?

its like swiping half of the movie and ruining the plot

    its imposible

  • No, they cut out the part where the body gets up headlessly and goes at her.

  • Dorothy Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaale!!!!! Man... that woman scared the crap out of me as a kid. She still does!

  • that movie used to scare the shit out of me when i was a kid. havent seen it since then but i do know its a great film. i will try to rent it one of these days. this specific scene gave me nightmares for many years during my young childhood.

  • They lost all imagination. Now it's just Pixar.

  • Pixar's movies are terrible IMO, I can't stand the Incredibles or Nemo

  • Pixar's what's keeping Disney alive! D: They're actually the ones that are making Disney make cartoon movies again, from what I hear.

  • Disney used to make awesome movies, wtf happened???

  • Wooow!!! Saludos

  • "Doooooooooorothy Gaaaaale!" That part and that woman used to scare the bejesus out of me when I was a child. Awesome movie!

  • lmfao

  • This movie freaked me out when I was a kid!!!! (and still does kind of)

  • Aww man! I thought this was the song. Jack Pumpkinhead reminds me of Jack Skellington :)

    I find this really cheesy.

  • Jack Skellington was based on Jack Pumpkinhead. Brian Henson, son to the man who created the Muppets, made Jack Pumpkinhead in RETURN TO OZ look exactly like he does in the original Oz books. Then Tim Burton, director of THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, based Jack Skellington of of Jack Pumpkinhead. He even used the same first name!

  • 123sarah-ksusha

  • crap this used to scare the shit out of me

  • Me too! Gave me some mightmares! lol!

  • Same here!

  • the scene with all the heads was terrifying as to me as a kid

  • This can't even come close to the original ,

    Judy garland

  • Ahhh! Oh my god is this seriously a kids film? That is so cool! Where can I get it?

  • It's so scary :( :( :( I feel realy scared

  • I LOVE THIS FILM

  • OMG like Im OBSESSED! BEST FILM EVER<3

  • simply fantastic!!

  • this is like, the only part of the movie I actually remember!

  • I can't believe this is a DISNEY movie!

  • Neither can I...O.O...

  • Disney came out with a lot of rather non-child-friendly movies before the 90's. I just watched the original 1970's Freaky Friday, and it suprirsed me that the Mom (the daughter in the Mom's body) called her son a jackass! The context was humorous, but it still seemed like innapropriate language for a kids movie! There is also drug and alcohol reference in the movie. It's all in a humorous context, but still! It's a Disney movie for cryin' out loud!

  • she was a cute kid. And now she's a BABE!!!!

  • this is the scariest part....I thouht she was saying ''naughty girl'' for so long lol.Shes pretty useless without her head though Dorothy could probably have kicked her ass!

  • It does sound like as if she's saying "naughty girl"

  • "but if his brain's ran down how can he talk?" - "happens to people all the time." HILARIOUS!!

  • That bit scared the bejebus out of me for months. Scariest Disney movie ever- its got a walking pumpkin head for crying out loud!

  • I Had Three Versions of Oz

    1939: The Wizard Of Oz

    1978: The Wiz

    1985: Return To Oz

  • I have over 30 on DVD.

  • i love OZ!

  • This was one scary film!
