Back the boat back down the ramp.. Float it in the water.. and then while its floating line it up with the trailer and then crank er' back on. Not that difficult.
Luckily its still on the trailer and not touching the ground. Just attach the strap on the front of the boat from the trailer by the tounge and put tension on it and put it back in the water and try again....

If the motor hadn't leaked down the boat would have fallen right there in the middle of the ramp. I tied the boat off and had him pull up as I raised the motor. It was fucked up and just what happens when someone is drinking and shit can happen fast. I can just imagine that boat had fallen off right in the middle of the boat ramp. With no way to get it up, but drag it off. I mean it would have been a major job without anything to lift it. I think I would have just left and walked down the road.
One day a friend and I were taking a outboard to put over. By the time we got to the boat ramp the outboard had leaked down which turned out to be a blessing. I took off the cable and was holding on the rope. The guy Nick Calloway from Orlando was drinking and he was backing the boat down and then he got crooked and then without warning just dumped it into the truck to straighten up. The boat slide down the trailer and rested on the lower unit.
i've seen someone try to use a trailer wench to move a 25 boat 1 inch further up on a trailer out of the water and the cable snapped... it can be a dangerous place to be..

This is almost as bad as lake berryessa last summer. It was obvious the family was new to boating. They had A brand new Malibu wakesetter didn't fasten it to the trailor going up the ramp..... Needless to say a $70,000 boat slid about 45 feet down the ramp
for starters I would suggest getting a decent sized vehicle. and if you go very slow like 5mph or less backing into the water, I think he could make it from where it stands.
i would suggest re-hooking the winch onto the boat and attempting to drag it back onto the trailer... not to sure how successful that would work with that massive boat tho

If the motor hadn't leaked down the boat would have fallen right there in the middle of the ramp. I tied the boat off and had him pull up as I raised the motor. It was fucked up and just what happens when someone is drinking and shit can happen fast. I can just imagine that boat had fallen off right in the middle of the boat ramp. With no way to get it up, but drag it off. I mean it would have been a major job without anything to lift it. I think I would have just left and walked down the road.

One day a friend and I were taking a outboard to put over. By the time we got to the boat ramp the outboard had leaked down which turned out to be a blessing. I took off the cable and was holding on the rope. The guy Nick Calloway from Orlando was drinking and he was backing the boat down and then he got crooked and then without warning just dumped it into the truck to straighten up. The boat slide down the trailer and rested on the lower unit.

i've seen someone try to use a trailer wench to move a 25 boat 1 inch further up on a trailer out of the water and the cable snapped... it can be a dangerous place to be..
this guy must have has the trailer with rollers on it... and they unlocked the wench...

This is almost as bad as lake berryessa last summer. It was obvious the family was new to boating. They had A brand new Malibu wakesetter didn't fasten it to the trailor going up the ramp..... Needless to say a $70,000 boat slid about 45 feet down the ramp

for starters I would suggest getting a decent sized vehicle. and if you go very slow like 5mph or less backing into the water, I think he could make it from where it stands.

i would suggest re-hooking the winch onto the boat and attempting to drag it back onto the trailer... not to sure how successful that would work with that massive boat tho

lol its probably a 6 cyl. Most everything can haul somthing its just would ruin it the engine. ive seen mini vans towing 7,000 campers. They can do it, its jsut its probably gonna end up doing some damage to your drivetrain if you keep doing it.

not so much ruin the engine, but for sure the drivetrain, i had a 91 dakota 5sp 2wd with the 3.9cyl and it lasted me a while hauling 10 tons of hay a 100miles every 18 weeks
