Problem with riots is that they are rarely peaceful, they disturb other citizens who are in the area on other business. Then when the police get enough complaints of protstors being loud, obstructing traffic, etc. They come out to shut them down, sometimes even shutting down and arresting innocent people who have no idea what your protest is even about. In the end the riot control police took all the attention away from the cause so no one knows what you were protesting in the first place.

Most of them were peacefully protesting. A few people knocked over some things and probably attempted to smash a window but that's about it. There weren't any bomb threats. The police were the terrorists here. They attacked people who were peacefully protesting as well as the few who weren't. They also arrested members of the press. Maybe you should know the full story before you make a comment. There were protesters (protesting is 100% legal) at the RNC. The police came in and starting spraying them with mace and using tear gas. The police then arrested people (and some families) who were at a nearby concert. The police later raided anarchists houses and said they were terrorists. (They were college students.)

Move means move...its in english. Is that so hard to understand? Police been saying move for some time and she complains to police to just say move instead of useing horse. Well how many times does one need to hear "move" to move?

why should someone move just because they are told to move...giving government that much power is the very definition of a sheepish fascist/soviet populace. I hope you realize there are more ways of putting asses on the line than joining the military (not that I disagree with enlistment).
If the mounted cop was trying to run you over, why did she say no to the horse? And why were you filming from the horse's hoofs anyways when any sane person knows there's a chance you could get trampled?

Exactly. What everone seems to forget is that a horse, no matter how well trained, is a prey animal. Given the wrong stimulus, it will panic. I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt.

I could not be a police officer. All the obnoxious protestors need to go stand in the corner for a time-out like I make my toddler do when he disobeys. The one chant was correct: The whole world is watching. But watching the protestors make asses of themselves. The next time you want help call an anarchist. I think the answer you'll get is something like, "f___ off".

He's down below her line of sight and talking to the horse to stop. The tension was on the horse's left bridle to turn it away from the camera. It's your selective vision that leaves you blind to the world. I agree with the civil duty to protest, but know what you're talking about before you open your yap.

Ever ride a horse? You are only in control if it wants you to be. That's 1000+ pounds of muscle and will with its own ideas about what it wants to do. One good scare and that officer will be lucky to just hang on as it tramples thru the crowd.
