Thank you so much! My auntie was making me leg warrmers before she died and I watched this and got the hang of this! Thank you so very much. I finally will be able to finish them! Thanks!
I forgot to thank you, I finished this pattern a long time ago. It looks great. I am going to teach my friend (a new knitter) this pattern as her first project. Thanks again for your video and thank you for getting back to me so quickly =)
@xXxBadGothAngelxXx You CAN do that :) My grandmother taught me this one because when you're teaching someone to knit, this particular pattern uses a few techniques that you'll eventually want to learn, while still doing a fairly simple project.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!! I have NEVER been able to start on my own I always had to get someone to put the stiches on for me :D Though my cloth looks a little gimpy I seem to either drop stiches or pick up random ones but other than that I at least can start on my own now :D FINALLY!!
I have the same brand of yarn that you're using but I never had any use for it because of it's texture. I just bought it because it was uber cheap at Michaels.
Thanks so much for giving me the idea to make it into a dish cloth.
Hello I have half of the dish cloth knitted, now I need to decrease and finish it but I do not see the video you said you would finish. could you tell me how to decrease this pattern? please
@mylittletribe I have no idea what knit 1, k2tg, yo, k2tg, knit across means but i have started and understand how to do the beginning half of the wash bloth- please explain!
@ShanaeMarie9 Those are basic knitting terms, and you'll need to learn these to follow a pattern :) You should be able to find a chart of definitions anywhere on the internet, or in a knitting book.
@BelovedHadali I've never actually made the ballband dishcloth. If I manage to finish up a few of my current projects, I may cast one on and make a tutorial.

@fancynancy19801980 I'm sorry about that. I've been far too busy to make another video.
Once you get to the width you'd like, you start decreasing on each round by doing this: Knit 1, k2tg, yo, k2tg, knit across.
Do this until you have four stitches left and bind off.

Knit 1, is just that, knit 1 stitch.
K2tg, is knit two stitches together.
yo, is yarn over
Good luck :)

@mylittletribe So after you k1, k2tg, yo k2tg, knit...... knit means you do the same as in the begining?? you knit til the end again??? Thanks
