@Sb0yce Linux does take less resources than Windows. Where Compiz Fusion is concerned (Wobbly Windows etc) You can mix and match different settings to suit your system, having too many effects enabled will take up more resources. Luckily in Ubuntu they are easy to disable.

Hey you go to System/ Preferences/ Appearance and click on Visual Effects and on there you can change them to EXTRA and you will have the shakeable window. This will come with more cool stuff to. You must have a good graphics card or it will not work, your computer will be to slow.

actually the will work on ALL. linux distributions. not just ubuntu/mint. but it worked great on my puppy linux that i have on my PII 300 MHZ 64 MBS RAM computer that i run as a small home server.
