2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show your thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of truth. If we do this we will not have any thing to worry about.
Loved you book. Subtle and profound concepts. I am struggling with one idea. Maybe I'm not understanding it correctly. This idea that nothing is "bad" I find difficult to grasp. When you see a child being abused, is that not bad? If you witness a child being abused by an adult should you just accept "what is" and "allow" it to happen without intervening? Does anyone have an opinion about this?
@Ltwkr2 there is only you - so all 'outside' events are merely opportunities to forgive yourself. At the level of form, like a any game, intervene if you wish but it is only a game. The real game is played in the mind (content). This is where the action is - to offer forgiveness because there is only you. No victims or perpatrators, only judgements that need forgiveness
@tomas0358 Thank you so much for your reply. I feel like I'm on the razor's edge of understanding this. I just feel a strong sense of outrage when I see what appears to be a gross injustice. It's a little hard for me to realize that is my ego. How can a little innocent child not be defended? How can an adult not intervene when it is apparent that the child is being harmed. I remember the cliche, "Evil can only prevail when good people do nothing." I believe that is true.
@tomas0358 Tomas, I'm not trying to trip you up, because I admire what you have discovered and are trying to offer to others. But take someone like Hitler. Should people do nothing when a tyrant goes on the rampage killing and destroying millions of people. So hard to understand that.
Sounds practical. Looking forward to seeing your other videos. Thanks
