@syko52 The Constitution was never ratified by 'We the people' but by 40 or so landowners, lawyers, slaveowners, Masons, etc. There were no women or children (also people!) or blacks present in 1789. There wasn't even a vote by 'the people'. There's nothing in it either legally binding on future generations. The Soviet Union had a constitution. So does the EU. So does Zimbabwe. Get the stars and stripes out your eyes! If you think people in power ever uphold bits of paper you're a deluded fool.
