Every time I have seen Todd his sense of humor is like no other. He knows how to handle the crowd with a good sense of humor even when they are rude and seeking their own recognition.

Just because you have purchased a couple of tickets doesn't mean you get a free pass to be ASSHOLE'S security should have escorted them back to there seats or the exit door!

Hi, semi... this me and a mate of mine who were dancing (not my partner). Yes, I felt really lucky. I was a bit surprised by some of the earlier comments but different views = different people... and like slidenote says, this video proves that Todd isn't some arrogant artist who thinks he's beneath his audience. I probably looked a bit of a prick, but the vid says more about his behaviour towards his fans than my behaviour with a few pints of beer down my neck :-)

This is similar in nature to the "I Saw The Light" version from his "With A Twist" disc, which is laced with bossa nova renditions of his past hits.

Also, this audience sounds very rude. All the yelling out, expecting Todd to answer every single verbal joust or shout ... come on, people, let todd be Todd. Let HIM do the talking.

That's called Artistic License. Part of being creative is trying old things in a new way. It may not be better but the original recording is still there to reference.

In think the only think you can expect from an artist in a live situation is that they show up and play, unless it says explicitly in the preshow advertisement that they will play this or that song. I guess everyone was aware that this was an acoustic show and that the songs were not gonna sound like on the record.

Few artists have such depth to their mind as he did. my dad hung out with him for a while and he said he acted like a regular guy. It's hard to believe that he could act this way but to him music is a second language so maybe he doesn't die everytime someone disrespects his work. He might very well not respect his own songs too.
