  • YES, I DO AGREE WITH YOU, NO ONE CAN REPLACE YOU. YOU'RE THE BEST OF ALL IN SURF MUSIC. I LOVE SURF BECAUSE OF YOUR SONGS.

  • excellent song- or as i said in the 1980's- "EX!" we also said "Wicked!" (late 1970's)I'm so fucking old!

  • @gymman1031 yes it was, they felt it was the perfect song to end a show. And yet they didn't perform it at wembley in 1991.

  • ...doing his best Mick Jagger impression. Love the song. Need the original video.

  • A lot of nice LIVE versions of "Don't Change" here. I wish someone would post the original video with the pick-up truck full of gear and the empty warehouse - Any takers?

  • Wasn't this often the final song during their live shows?

  • smelly minge, yeah

  • Ganz großes Kino! R.I.P. Michael

  • it's a great song

  • Why doesn't this have more views?

I was quite surprised when I saw the view count.

  • Adventureland

  • I WISH everybody would just get over comparing m,h, to mick jqgger it makes me sick and eager to slap those rolling stone groupie whores

michael was himself and the best stop the comparisons

  • @scientistshar why? mick jagger is amazing too, as are the stones. it would be an honor for either of them to be compared to the other im sure.

  • wow this song kicks allot of ass!

  • Giving his best Mick Jagger performance, I had a wank with a bag over my head, it was so good I died, he deserved to die, great band, what a fucking waste for the other band members.

  • @mattlizard29 I see you're the judge and jury here, do you deserve to die too? Hater.

  • @thomasflynn21 Not a hater just a realist, he was a selfish fucker but, all super stars are. For Example:- Bob Marley(Hypocrite), Elvis Presley(fat cunt!) and so on, Thomas Flynn, I know your Mother, she wont like your rudeness.

  • @mattlizard29 I think I speak for many inxs fans when I say go fuck yourself...

  • The only 80s band I never saw, sadly. Yes, the best song by INXS. ForEver in our hearts.

  • I LOVEYOU MICHEAL . WHY DID YOU LEAVE US ?

  • 3 people changed.

  • jajjajajajjaja...i bet she is right

  • omg why do I love skinny sorta fem guys sooooo much? so sexy!

  • wasted talent,dam shame!

  • I agree this is the best song by INXS;

    "The One Thing" is a close second;

Shabooh Shoobah is their best album.

I'm glad for them that they became more successful, but they also became a different band (after Shabooh Shoobah)

  • Can't believe the original music video fof the studio version of "Don't Change" from MTV's glory yrs (they are so gone now) is not here at YT. Damn WMG...leave us alone already! It should be here...where the f*** is it???

  • @LawrenceLugar1 It's amazing you were able to type that with the stick that far up your ass. Spare the world your moral commentary.

  • ... back in "the day" ... we covered this song (one of our few). I remember, people used to go NUTS over this one. We had several songs on the radio ... but this one usually drew the best reactions.

    Wow, thanks for the memories.

  • How...why are all these people sitting down??? sigh.

  • @eretant1 ya really! there's like one random woman dancing all 80's. I would party with her :)

  • Love Love Love INXS, Michael will never be repalced

  • LOVE this Song!! ILYY <3

  • Miss you!!!

  • inxs was the bomb miss you michael--candle in the wind

  • happy b-day M. H. :)

  • Great song. Interesting comparisons here. The vocals have a very Jagger - like quality. The rhythm guitar has very clear connections with, The Edge, from U2. INXS is highly underrated. Looking back, this was a very good band, who walked that fine line between 80s rock and 80s pop. I am revisiting some of their hits today. They were so big and commercially successful in the late 80s, it's easy to forget how genuinely talented they were.

  • @skybluemarshall On the Bee Gees Biography Barry Gibb talked about how in the early 70's they were just totally rejected by the music business after great success in the late 60's (yes the Bee Gees were around long b4 Fever). He said the music business rejects artist from the last decade whenever a new decade rolls around, and it seems like this happened to INXS in the 90's. According to the Behind the Music on Michael, he was very frustrated that they weren't as successful in the 90's.

  • My Favorite INXS Song

  • Always felt this was one of the finest pieces of INXS . Powerpop - 80s keyboards and awesome guitar. A lay down misere in songwriting. Synth opens gets anyone up - so does guits and it belts along - FULL ON ADRENALINIC ROCK AND ROLL> Ending with that synth. Never seen INXS show without them closing with this. Fantastic pece.

  • this band was so optimistic..

  • thumbs up for rat tail @ 1:26 !!!!

  • Damn, Hutch was working on getting Freddie's level of ability as a front man... Both gone toooo soon

  • I love inxs songs like burn for you by my side Don't Change

  • Still makes me elated. Especially seeing young Michael launching himself about the stage, he was gone too soon. LOVE this.

  • covered this song in high school along with u2's new years day back in 1988- both of these were rare examples of moving mainstream 80s rock- while i always prefereed the clash the damned the jam etc - this song deserves its credit for emotional resonance and timeless quality of the lyric- simply put a great song

  • Best song ever by INXS, I saw them in San Diego at the sports arena, sold out show.

Me and My friend were 4 rows back from the stage Damn, Michael was so beautiful and His voice, not one dry panty in the whole damn concert.

RIP Baby, you left this world way too early.

    No one can replace you.

  • I agree - saw inxs lots of time in the 80's in Australia - on my first concert ,got kissed on the head by Michael to this son and don't think I washed my hair fo about a month - (to my mums digust) RIP Michael

  • @xepobnha666 LOL I had to agree I don't want to hear about panties being soaked...that was a little graphic, unless you're Mila Kunis...then go right ahead we can chat private if ya want....buahahhhaha!!!!!!

  • @xepobnha66 if it was the 87 show with PIL I was right there in front of you. I won front row tickets from 91x, to this day it ranks in my top 5 moments of all time.

  • @zippidog

I went a few weeks before at CSU Fresno. Saw them in '85 at the Arlington in Santa Barbara, and '86 at the Greek in L.A.

  • @longhair2005 You need to chill out a bit there pal. And if you think Suicide Blonde is better than this, You're the dumb cunt.

  • @RDArtist81 I can agree maybe i need to chill out, but i see it as bloody pathetic, and i like many types of music but as for being obsessed with them NO sir, these stars are people just lik every 1 else no better.

  • @xepobnha666

    love it!

  • @xepobnha666 Yer I can imagine.lol.

  • He reminded me of JAGGER ..............

  • LOVE FOR MIKE

  • What the heck is wrong with that odience? Seriously? If I was there, I would be all like, "YYYEEEAAAAAAWWWWOOOOOOHHHOOOOAAAAAHHHHHHHGGGGAAAAOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • One of my dad's friends has a band that played last night actually. This song was part of the setlist. They did good, but nobody can compare to the original.

  • This is one of the least known gems of INXS and i really love it !!!!, rip Michael

  • I miss the 80's!

  • he's so young and baby-faced here!

  • this is so wonderful.

  • Absolutely my favourite song EVER!!!!!!!!

  • Michael's voice was so infinitely unique and resonant for this gifted band. R.I.P.

  • rest in peace mate u mighty aussie legend .

  • whether u were metal (I) or new wave WE ruled this century!

Michael Hutchence was certainly a special guy. An icon u know? like Steve Perry, Vince Neil, David Lee Roth, Priest, etc.. stood the test of time for better or worst.

Great singer, great fucking band!! We, from that time, OWNED these gems.

  • @mikemanitou - ...HAHAHAHAHA *LMFAO* Good SHIT!!! ;-)

  • ya know, if ya focus on the idea of this chorus? we all rock, be who you are, DONT CHANGE, RIP MIchael! Harmony is a dream as long as we think it is,,,

  • what are u talking about you fukin bonehead

  • what yr was this?

  • @Owds1ctm about '83, no later, they played this at the huge 'us' festival in the usa in 83, but this is scotlant .

  • I heard this song at my office on radio in 1992. I thought they were so good, they had to be a US band. I was surprised when I found out they were home grown. This still remains one of my favorite songs.

  • Favourite band is Midnight Oil.

  • me encantan su energia en c/cancion

  • I remember when i first saw the video for "Don't Change".And thinking what a great song and that they were going to be a big and popular band. And i agree it was their best song.I think the band should of heeded "DON"T CHANGE" before that frivolous TV show to replace Micheal Hutchinson.ACDC are the only ones to pull it off.

  • @cambruoso Thing about Acca Dacca is...they just don't care anymore! They lay it all on the line every time they perform...BALLS ON FIRE! but, wait, what about Deep Purple? They didn't really hit big time success until David Coverdale's DP did Highway Star and Smoke on the Water.

  • my fave 2nd band

  • @guyleclairemusic what's your first?

  • saw them live in the late 80s ,at bruce stadium canberra, what a fantstic band live

  • Arguable their greatest song in a long list of great songs! IMHO

  • Best of the Best...RIP Hutch!

  • 80's were and will always be the BEST time of my life.

  • long live michael

  • 50th birthday this year to the angel in heaven xxxx

  • I remember the first time I heard this song in 1982. The DJ said that they were going to be bigger than the Rolling Stones. I tell you what, he wasn't wrong. RIP Michael, we haven't forgotten you <3

  • @aussiefaraday hey Inxs was a great band,,but the stones are legends in their own right..they influenced many rock bands of today and yesterday..in fact michael reminds me of a young Mick Jagger the way he moves...many bands emulated the stones ..the stones have many powerful songs they have written..sorry dude..Inxs bigger than the stones...not in this life time...

  • @aussiefaraday - Bigger than the Rolling Stones??? R u on Crack or what??..HAHAHAHA Gimme some of that SHIT!!!

  • anybody got the original video of this song??

  • @blksabbath65 -Don't u look it up??... Or r u just too bloody "Lazy" looking at all the videos of this song? I suppose so. It was posted up 9mths ago and it's still on here.
