@nadishana Technically it's a hybrid. Steel tongue drums usually have a big reverberation hole on the top. Which I'm guessing it's on the bottom. Exactly like a hang drum. And the low note at the center top also comes from hang drum. My only question. Can you get one that's tuned to the Solfeggio scale? That's all I want. All the other scales can go away.
looks like a hung drum. Is there a difference?

you have to be kidding me, there's a huge difference. A hang drum is much higher quality and total different tone.

It's F major pentatonic scale on this video. We have other scales too, like akebono, hitzaz, etc. Please take a look to our website.

the hang is its mother, thus is what came out of not affording the hang, but still wanting the sweet angelic sounds :)
