i was driving from Marine Air Base Beaufort S.C. to Savannah Georgia some time in early '67 to party with a young lady i knew there ,that was the first time i heard this song....
LONG LIVE The BUCKINGHAMS! And may this song never be considered to old, even though it is from 1966. I was about three years old when I first heard it. Thanks gentlemen for making such a beautiful song. I absolutely still love it and the memories it brings of a carefree childhood.
I love how Carl, and Nick were'nt interested in the song...probably because Dennis Tufano was singing it..Just my opinion....I'm sure songs that were "hits" weren't all hits from the beginning. Dennis continues to sing this song into the hearts of many Americans, and we love it!...sory to say that we love it when Dennis sings it (the actual singer of the song).
@folz208 why didn't they like Dennis? He seems like a decent guy, of course I don't know him personally. I've read that they didn't like him but never hear why.
Great Chicago group!

good and something different. But I think i'd still prefer the black and white video. theres a sense of "innocence " about it

By the way, I wonder if anyone has the B-side to this single. Song was called "You make me feel good". If so, please let me know.

It didn't see the light of day here which is a shame, sounds good to me. I blame our crap radio for not giving these kinda bands any play.
Great stuff!!
