The quality of care is better, people do not get denied treatment if they need it, people are not bankrupted by medical bills or co payments like they are in America where it's the number one reason for personal bankruptcy.

What the video fails to mention is that the broad ideals described in the US Constitution is specified through ruling by The Supreme Court and the European Union do not have such a centralized institution to clarify and rule on interpretations of the broad ideals. Therefor the European treaties have to define and specify each of the political frameworks used meaning the treaties become very large and complicated and the actual ideal gets lost in minute details..

A very large part of people getting cancer are NOT smokers. Even children get cancer. Even very fit people die from heart attach's etc. It's true that lifestyle deceases exist but the majority of health care costs are not related to those.
