thats normal.. even real guns have some lag. and this is in ALL ut games. it symbolizes the Unreal gameplay. if u dont like it, then go jerk off to wolfenstein 3d

This game was a total failure. Screw epic and midway for abandoning it's PC fanbase that made it what it is today and releasing this console ported garbage to the PC.
The game is good, it's the concept that's bad. Gameplay is exactly what it should be, but abandoning the sports theme sucks. It feels too much like Gears imo.
I agree, it doesn't, that's why I wish it did matter. Call of Duty 4 is arguable an awesome FPS with great multiplayer, Gears of War is also a good series with a rather popular deathmatch as well. We all know about Halo.
What those games have in common is that they carry a good story. None of them do it through deathmatch however, and if anyone can make a universe, a story wrapped around the concept of FPS deathmatch it was the UT series.

i bought it today and i love it, i can play it at 1200x1024 world and graphic deatail at 4/5 amd it looks awsome. i realy love that necris darkwalker (you now the war of the worlds tripod thingie :D) machine which you can walk around with, its brutal! great game but i didnt expect less since i have all the ut games.
I just got the game, and it's mostly just UT2004 with better graphics and about half the maps.some weapons were removed and no new ones were added. there's not much new and exciting about the gameplay except for warfare, which removed bombing run, and assult. I really hope they release bonus packs and more gametypes. I miss having too many gametypes:P
You can get the original UT (aka UT99) on eBay cheap; try for the game of the Year Edidtion and you get the latest version and a bunch of bonus packs to save you downloading time.

Mine doesn't have errors but the textures are pretty bad. I think it all goes down to whether you have a HD hookup or not. Still, the game is fun as hell without it lol.

That's simply retarded. PC Graphics are just as good as console. In a year or two PC graphics will CLEARLY surpass te PS3 and Xbox 360. If the console market tried to catch up with PCs theyd need to make a new console every 2-3 years. Think about it: if the pc gaming market dies, the hardware companies die (nvidia, intel etc.) and it's those companies who keep the graphic advancement going on all platforms.
granted im runnin a 3.5 ghz overclock with an 8800GT, 2 gigs of 1000 mhz ram and a heat sync the size of my cars radiator... it could be the reason its better than my ps3 :P

No it wouldn't have. Right now, its the cheapest Blu-Ray player on the market, or at least, close to it. This makes it quite popular amongst HD-TV fans who don't have an HD-DVD player, and especially if they have kids, what with Disney going Blu-Ray and all!

Sucks compared to Halo 3, the speed that your moving is way to quick and isn't realistic and the weapons don't look as good.{I'm not saying the weapons look bad but just not as good or flowing as Halo's one} It's also basically the PS3 designers trying to make a big hit like Halo did.
These guys made Gears of war, which totally OWNED Halo 3 (halo 3 was a dissapointment, no new gameplay) These guys arent PS3 designers, they are PC gamers and have been since before Halo.

I was told however that the 60gig PS3's were Region free, and i could therefore get an American version, and be able to play it fully, anyone know if this is true? wouldnt want to order and not be able to play it
ALL Ps3 models are region free,be it the 80GB,60GB,40GB or 20GB.All are REGION free,so you can import any American or Japanese game and they will work without any problem whatsoever.The only thing you have to worry about is import tax :)

Make sure you have updated drivers. There are new 8800 drivers coming out pretty frequently (not surprising seeing as DX10 games are finally here).

sorry but i perfere consoles been playing them since i was 5. also i just dont feel like deeling with all the errors and stuff. im not saying theirs anything wrong with it i know good and well that a pc is way more powerful then any console. im 14 and still live with my parents so its going to be hard to convince them.

That's simply retarded. PC Graphics are just as good as console. In a year or two PC graphics will CLEARLY surpass te PS3 and Xbox 360. If the console market tried to catch up with PCs theyd need to make a new console every 2-3 years. Think about it: if the pc gaming market dies, the hardware companies die (nvidia, intel etc.) and it's those companies who keep the graphic advancement going on all platforms.

granted im runnin a 3.5 ghz overclock with an 8800GT, 2 gigs of 1000 mhz ram and a heat sync the size of my cars radiator... it could be the reason its better than my ps3 :P

No it wouldn't have. Right now, its the cheapest Blu-Ray player on the market, or at least, close to it. This makes it quite popular amongst HD-TV fans who don't have an HD-DVD player, and especially if they have kids, what with Disney going Blu-Ray and all!

Sucks compared to Halo 3, the speed that your moving is way to quick and isn't realistic and the weapons don't look as good.{I'm not saying the weapons look bad but just not as good or flowing as Halo's one} It's also basically the PS3 designers trying to make a big hit like Halo did.

ok, i live in england, and just found out that im gonna have to wait like a month or 2 or 3 for my ps3 version of this. I was told however that the 60gig PS3's were Region free, and i could therefore get an American version, and be able to play it fully, anyone know if this is true? wouldnt want to order and not be able to play it

ALL Ps3 models are region free,be it the 80GB,60GB,40GB or 20GB.All are REGION free,so you can import any American or Japanese game and they will work without any problem whatsoever.The only thing you have to worry about is import tax :)

um im pretty sure you no nothing you tool and yeah you would need about 2.5 to 3 grand the graphics on unreal may actually be pretty close on the ps3 coz the graphics on unreal arnt that good i have the newest call of duty and it looks way better on medium settings with 1280 res than my mates ps3 so imagine with physics and settings on very high or play crysis then you wont even bother with that ps3 shit
