  • if i were to buy a pair of SRX728s what would be a good power amp to run these speakers?, if i were to buy 2 pairs of SRX728s, the watts will double, but is the ohms will remain 4 ohms or 8 ohms? and what power amp would be good to run the 2 pairs of SRX728s?

  • I would look for an amp that will do 3500-4000w into 4 ohms with proper processing though you could get by with 3000w. If you were to purchase a second pair you would need a second amp. That's the easiest way of doing it.

  • ok im a mobile DJ with 2 jrx125s powered by a behringer ep2500 amp. would it be ok to add the jrx118 powered into the system, or is it bad to have powered and un powered speakers in one system?

  • that shouldn't be a problem at all. Might want to try experimenting with where you cross over your sub or if you want to cross over your tops at all. Good luck to you!

  • you've really taken a mathematical approach to your subwoofer search...

I looked for an active sub, at least 400-500w RMS, and small in size (so a double 15 or 18 is out of the question).

    I ended up getting a Yorkville Elite LS700P, 700W, dimensions (inches) 24.5 x 24 x 17.5, 90lbs and Max SPL 131 dB
