does the dancing mean something, what i mean is that is the dancer telling a story through danc, because some of the moves the dancer(s) was doing looked like she was poring water(or something) like that). I am not Indian and this is the first time i have seen this kind of dance before, the danceing looks coo!

@Allaboutmucis ..You are correct. Hindu dance often is structured as to tell a story that is usually reflected in the lyrics being sung. Usually mythological stories. Of course, sometimes it is just for fun too ;)

The variety is simply so captivating in this bharatnatyam pieces. The choreography highlights the nuances of the Mangudi's bharathanatyam school.
