  • Hello Millicent!! :0)

It's great to know another person with the same name as my little girl!! I know that there aren't any other Millicent's in her class at school...may not be any in the whole school! :0) I love that name and have always loved it...then, when time came to name her...it just had to be. :0)

  • Hi this reminds me of when my daughter was born. she was 7lbs 12 but in distress had to be resucitated. didnt get to hold her till the next day but when i did i breastfed her and they told us she was very sick touch and go. but after 6 days in neo natal she came on leaps and bounds i believe due to the feeding. we were told she prob be brain damaged and only time would tell. nut happilt she is perfect and celebrates her 4th bday next tues.

  • :0) Awesome! I love to hear from other moms with their baby's stories. I know exactly how you felt, each day in neo natal seems like eternity...it's so hard on us moms and dads...everyone...and yep, the doctors warned me that my little precious baby may have vision, hearing and developmental problems...nothing of the sort took place. Tell you sweet daughter Happy Birthday for us! Our Millicent will turn 7 on the 17th of Feb. :0) God bless you and your family!!

  • And thanks sooo much for watching my video and for commenting!! :0)

  • amen!

  • Oh By the way I breastfed each child for 1 year but that's better than none. I am very Happy I did.

  • You did great Mommy! A year is the most important. It's a blessing to have that bonding time and I miss that part of their babyhood. We could just tune out the world, I'd have my bottle of water or juice and she'd nurse, that was the most beautiful experience!

  • yes what a beautiful time to remember! Thank you!

  • This is a sweet video! When you said you held your breathe waiting to hear her cry, I did that same thing. I was really aware of what I wanted to hear when she came out and it seemed like forever before I heard a cry, but I was relieved when I did & I cried! =) Lovely pictures!

  • Thank you so much! I really appreciate you watching my vids.

I remember that as if it were yesterday when I look at her tiny outfit and her tiny footprints from the hospital. We didn't know what to expect and I too cried. I cried of joy, peace, "finally she's hear"...it was so emotional. Thanks!!

  • you babies are soooo cute, nice video!

  • Thank you so much! :0) :0)

  • Your children are beautiful. I breastfed my kids until they turned 3. They are so happy and such good kids. I am so glad I know how important it is to breastfeed. Not a drop of formula passed my kids lips. Good job!

  • Thank you for your comment! I am so glad you chose to give your children the best start possible by breastfeeding. Besides the nutritive value, the bonding experience is priceless. :) Thank you so much for your uplifting comment. :0)

  • :) Thank you!!! I'm glad you enjoy the pics!

  • I enjoy the pics.Your kids are so pretty=).

  • Thank you so much!!! :)

  • such a nice video

  • 6 days is an eternity. I learned that 1 day in the NICU is 1 more than anyone wants. No one expects or wants or imagines this happening. So I understand and sympathize what you mean by 6 "whole" days. Congratulations on the birth of your daughter and may she enjoy a happy childhood. Checkout my vids when you have time!
