  • See at 00:16.. That's a huge reason why I love football. So much respect and support among players.. Even for the other team, they play with heart, no one on and off the field want to see these things happening..

  • @GuiGui550000 More like 00:14 after a double check.

  • not head ...

  • Kevin everret does sports center know

  • The announcer has the biggest head ever! Lol

  • How the fuck is he Tryin to act like a badass by hitting someone that's his goddamn job dipshit that's how he puts food on the table dude you re a fucking retard

  • Trying to act like a "Billy Badass" got himself out of NFL and on lifetime disability benefits....

  • @cgrau100 i wanna see you go on the field and take a hit like that asshole

  • @cgrau100 I hope you take a hit like this and are unable to move, let alone work.

  • I remember this, just saw a hit kind of similar to this today and made me search this. I'm very happy he didn't suffer any major permanent injuries

  • I remember this. 3-0 baby!

  • I do the same thing head to head , and i woke up at the hospital and my c2 ,c3 was broken, but i still okay i didnt get paralized

  • I played football in college with kevin. He didnt die. We played at kilgore college together and had a 12-0 season plus a championship ring to boot. 5 players off of our team went to the pros. Demorrio williams, thomas herrion, brandon warfield and a cpl others. Kevin was a great person....very serious about every game. He is able to walk and do normal everyday things but i hate what happened. Kevin....god has a plan for you buddy believe that!

  • @blakeb903 Yeah, Demorrio Williams finished college at Nebraska! He was amazing! Lavonte David reminds me of Demorrio a lot.

  • did he died

  • As was said by iubasketball10 above, Everett's injury was caused by the impact. A human isn't a ram or goat; we can't butt heads that way without causing something to snap out of shape.

Heard from a coworker last night that Everett is expected to at least walk again. Maybe not 100 percent, and NEVER play football, but still much better than it could've turned out for him.

  • I had the opportunity to meet him personally tonight -- he is AMAZING! God bless him and his family, and all his struggles...he is truly an inspiration for others with spinal cord injuries -- (Monroe County Community College -- Monroe, MI)

  • @sanjuancapistranorap no the paramedic started a salin iv in the ambulance so they cud operate. If the emt didnt do that, everett cud have been paralyzed from the neck down

  • Man.... it is sad to see that it was his own fault :(

He lowered his head down and hit head first, which is something YOU NEVER DO. Glad he made it out alive and is able to walk. Hopefully people learn from this.

  • remove spaces

    ww w . rickroll . it/2Q5

  • thumbs up if you thought it said: Kevin Garnett Helmet To Helmet Hit and you were like: WHAAA???

  • @FOOTBALLcomz1st youtube losers are so funny, You ask for thumbs like youre asking for a blowjob. whats a thumbs up gonna do to you? change your life? we all know who kevin everette is so the only thumb up you get is up your ass loser.

  • that is why they invented form tackling !!!!!

    fuck helmet to helmet hits!!!

  • this sport is so dangerous, fucking goliath 265 pounders running at each other head first

  • did he get paralyzed?

  • @sanjuancapistranorap yes but not permanent

  • @sanjuancapistranorap Hes walking freely now

  • i was there and it was more brutal watching it live then now

  • this is why helmet to helmet hits are being banned. sure, it didn't cause the injury here, him not keeping his head up did, but this is also a scary risk of those helmet to helmet hits. remember that when you blockheads watch a game and cheer once someone gets hit helmet to helmet.

  • I read the story of Everett some minutes ago...so sad...

  • I think it was a great move by the Bills to keep him on the active roster long enough for him to qualify for lifetime disability benefits. And it was great to see him walk on stage for interviews under his own power. He wont be able to play again but he can walk.

  • @toolff83 all the difference right there

  • @toolff83 yep, thats the important thing. I remember seeing this hit live on tv, my heart sank right after it happened cause I use to be a sports manager for JV, Varsity and Jr high sports and I remember this one bad injury one of our wrestlers took that sent him to the hospital.

  • That was not a helmet to helmet hit.

  • he cudv easily just hit him in the legs and he wudv been down... instead he went for the killshot and fucked himself up

  • Did anyone else google kevin everett after watching the video of a guy freaking out in court? Or am I the only one...

Maybe the funniest video on youtube.

  • they teach you not to hit like that in peewee football

  • Dear NFL, I was playing a pick up game of football and one of the defensive player's head hit into mine, please send this individual a 75,000 dollar fine and or a 1/2 game suspension, sincerely, a giant pussy

  • they shouldnt play with helmets, they cause more injuries

  • @yeastu the helmet didn't cause the injury, he went for the tackle with his head down

  • @iubasketball10 Same way LeGrand was injured. You can't lower your head like that with on a special teams tackle, just too much velocity.

  • @iubasketball10 true that

  • keep ur head up or u might lose ur legs, tragic

  • /watch?v=OWbMGoymFjw watch it, it needs more views i dont know why it doesnt its hilarious.

  • is it really worth risking ur body for a game like football. it does make you question the point in it. don't start arguing

  • @1982FMJ i say that everyday, ut i love this sport i can't stop playing it and i hope i make it to the NFL one day.

  • funny the guy who delivered the hit got knocked theeeeeeeee fuckkkkkkkk outttttttttttttttt

  • who cares sorry ass bills poor guy gotta retire to his 20 million dollar house why dont they just eliminate hitting in football altogether.....like they will eventually

  • @iMurderUFuqs actually that is a false statement because kevin everett did not earn 20,million dollars for being a 3rd string tight end you should realize not every player in the nfl makes 20 mil. and your extremely ignorant for thinking his life is worthless

  • @iMurderUFuqs You're a class act guy...making fun of someone for getting paralyzed while doing their dream job. Go fuck yourself.

  • @iMurderUFuqs who the hell do u think you are? "o hes a useless sorry ass bills player" ur just fuckin sad. how bout u run as fast as you can into a 200+ lb guy wearing a fucking helmet! how would u like it? how would u like ending ur career of a dream job? FUCK YOU!

  • @iamtop5 u a lil bitch bro

  • @terryakatbone i wasnt talkin to u man. that kids the fucking bitch

  • @iMurderUFuqs who cares what team he play's for he is now paralayzed and his career and kids and his life just went down the drain do everyone a favor and go fucking kill urself u homo

  • i remember watching this game poor guy..denvers been my fav team for my whole life

  • blizzy00 is afuckin tard

  • Wow this was on my birthday....

  • im not a bills fan whatsoever but i hated to see that, it still gives me chills to see this

  • it's not so much helmet to helmet here. he led with his head down (or level). but im all about protecting the heads and necks in the nfl. all fines are legit to me. you dont have to blind side someones helmet to make a good tackle....hmmm how come i can figure that out and ive never played a down of football in my life???

  • Thats what he gets for lowering his helmet to take a block......

Why...would you do that?........he through himself in that shitty position to get hurt....he could have just made a wrap tackle...or hit low....but no....he didnt.

    And HE payed the price.

Dont feel sorry for someone who was injured on a legal play, by there own poor tackling attempt.

He fucked up, and he payed the price.

Who cares, its football. People get hurt. Its a physical Game.

  • @blizzy00

hey dickclown next time keep your shit plugged away in your asshole

  • @BittenMitten

I dont recall shitting on this video, but.

Do you have a method to plugging said asshole?, Buttplugger.

  • @blizzy00 Why are you so cold? The dude made a bad tackle, but things on the field happen fast and bad tackles happen. He was doing his job and doing what he loved. Yes football is a physical sport and people will get hurt, but you never want to see someone's career ended and/or their life altered because of the sport. There are people out there who do really dumb shit like jump off buildings for no real reason. Those are the people you should not feel sorry for. But whatever...

  • @IProphetI

You can call it cold, or you can call it emotionally in tune.

Football is one of those sports where you can be injured and or killed simply by playing. Its not like crying and sympathizing is going to heal his wounds or anything.

  • @blizzy00 Well, I'll call it cold. Emotionally in-tune? Im not saying that you should cry or sympathize for him, but saying "thats what he gets" is pretty much inhumane. If he was a close friend of yours, or if he was a family member, would you be saying the same thing? Im not here to argue or anything, just saying...

  • @blizzy00 You must have no soul or something. The game is played fast, players dont have time to think, " Oh, gotta keep my head up on this tackle" They just react and make plays. Injurys do happen, but no one deserves to be paralyzed. Not even you, even though your one really fucked up person.

  • This play was all legal - so, it will eventually happen to somebody else sometime as it happened before (Darryl Stingley and so on). This game is like that and people love it.

  • @randomzombieguy No retard they were praying for chicken nuggets.

  • @patsfan2014 I was going to laugh, but your a Patriots fan. So you can suck it.

  • @patsfan2014 HAHAHAHA

  • they put this type of hit on sports science.... deadly stuff

  • Proof that modern medicine, surgery and God are amazing things. Displaced spinal fracture and he is WALKING! Praise technology, praise God. Life is good.

  • That almost of reminds me how Dennis Byrd was hurt. Different way he got hurt, but same type of impact.

  • Hate to see anyone hurt permanently. At the same time, if a defender leads w/ his head & does helmet-to-helmet hit, I'd rather see the defender hurt than the offensive player.

  • his head wasnt up that is what caused his injury. he speared him.. bad move.

  • were they all praying that he was going to be ok in that huddle

  • Football as a sport, has made the helmets too hard and padded. This does two things. Makes defensive players attack with their heads at top speed causing injury to the offense. Makes defensive players feel invincible while forgetting that their protected head is connected to a fragile neck.

    Hope he recovers.

  • Always move your head outside of the contact area. Never tackle with your head inside. I've played both Rugby and Football and from personal experience, the quality and techniques for tackling in Football are very poor. The problem is, Football has become obsessed with the big hit and has players have forgotten how to tackle. Hit over tackle, that's the problem. And you can deliver a crunching tackle using correct technique. I've been on the receiving end and have dished out too.

  • We all love this sport for the violence and I'm sure the players love it too and understand the risks, but nobody likes to see a player get hurt. Especially a serious injury like this. That's why I think it's a good thing the league is trying to tidy up the hit area. This was an accident but some are avoidable. Cleaning up the hit area will also benefit the tackler and the guy getting tackled. If guys use their head, they risk injury to themselves, not only the guy they're hitting.

  • to anyone saying shit about how to tackle and talking shit about what happened this video is posted as the example and to keep this from happening again so shut your fucking mouths and let people post positive comments because i bet half of you never played football

  • gata keep that head up gat what he should have learn the game son

  • This is why coaches always say keep your head up

  • @NotoriousFred97 wtf? they tell you to keep your head down on a tackle retard

  • @leerey14

His head was down the ball carrier changed levels in front of him and lead with his helmet.

  • @leerey14 Lol..No they don't. "Head up-facemask on the ball" is a common phrase by american football coaches.

  • this is why hitting in the NFL shud be legal. they can damage themselves. pussies need to stop crying about potential injries to offensive players

tis football u faggots. get in or go home bitches

  • @SHAKEITSHAKETHATBEAR wow i don't even watch football or care for it and i know ur a jerk. HEY FAGGOT HE GOT PARALYZED FROM THE NECK DOWN! why dont you suffer that and say he's a pussy? and by the way he's walking again so even if i dont watch football, i still have his respect unlike you

  • @SHAKEITSHAKETHATBEAR i would love to see this happen to you, but in reality you dont play football and are probably eating a bag of cheetos or someother weight gaining supplement, hey before i go can i ask you something?

    whats your bra size?

  • Special Teams in high school. I remember hitting someone at full speed on the field. Probably did brain damage to both of us, lol.

  • That's why u keep ur head up and don't lead wit ur head down when makin a tackle specially on special teams when everything is much faster, and more physical. I did that once thankfully it was in high school and it was a simple tackling drill 10 yards apart so there wasn't such a big collision and all I felt was pain in my neck and kinda tingling I guess.

  • This was one of the saddest days in NFL history. I can't believe anyone is criticizing or saying that this his fault or that he was being unnecessarily reckless. This man put his body on the line as does every player in the NFL or college football. This is an unfortunate by product of the game, but to say that this was his fault, or saying anything insensitive, shows you have no heart and no mind. You try and play the game at their level. God Bless Kevin Everett

  • mmm i remember putting the head down once and feeling my body go numb for bout five seconds scared the hell out me. Hope he eventually makes a full recovery

  • @samauripizzacats101 he did, but he's not playing in the pros anymore because of the doctors were scared that he would never walk again but he walked again but he decided not to play again

  • @michaelcrank1 yeah i knew he made somewhat of a recovery but walking again is just great

  • @michaelcrank1 its not that he decided not to play again, its that he can't. Since the injury, he will never be at the strength he was when he played in the NFL. He has made a lot of progress though since the injury, but he will never make a full recovery.

  • At least he's okay. That was a hard ass hit. And, at least John Lynch didn't hit him.

  • does anyone remember a few years back when an eagle receiver got hit really hard and the game got delayed like 45 minutes and there was like 100 people on the field attending to him and they had to bring him off on a stretcher?!? ive always remembered that as the hardest hit of my life but i can never find footage of it anywhere.

  • @SFBL1 Couldn't have said it any better myself!.. Touche.

  • Absolutely brutal---but the great thing is the medical miracle that followed.

Everett is NOT paralyzed (although it looked as though might happen at the time), because the Bills doctors had already prepared a drill for an injury just like this.

  • @Stephthatackle Yeah its pretty difficult to do when youre fucking paralyzed from the neck down you dick. id liketo see you up against him. at the time he probaly wouldnt evn have to get out of his wheel chair to beat the hellout of you.

  • @rockettransam911 well if the pussy had wrapped up and tackled right he wouldn't have been parylyzed, now would he?

  • @Stephthatackle he was trying to wrap his arms around him.. too bad your head leads when your running

  • @Stephthatackle You call him a pussy, but that man is still richer, and still better than you'll ever be. He'll still be an inspiration to people years from now, while I won't even remember writing this comment to you in a week's time.

  • @SFBL1 You don't know me or what i'll do in the future...you should kill your ugly self,,,

  • @Stephthatackle ur a shit excuse for a human

  • @Stephthatackle true... but very cruel, what if he was your son, brother, or friend? you should really think before you speak/type...

  • @A10pilot617 I would tell his ass to tackle right next time....

  • @Stephthatackle i dont think he can when he cant even move youi bitch. fuck u.

  • @Stephthatackle Nice dude. You successfully trolled these people. Now can I ask you. What did you gain through any of this? What did you achieve? Just curious. I want to get inside the mind of a troll.

  • @yomaster555 Im not trolling..Im dead serious incase you couldnt tell.

  • @Stephthatackle Youve probably never played a down of football in your life, sometimes things happen and you cant react or you get in a situation and you cant adjust. sometimes helmet to helmet is inevidible

  • @GriffinMcCarley I know that. I play football,Defensive end and right tackle. but he clearly went in there tryna "woof woof" like he's laron landry or somebody....And didnt know what the hell he was doing.

  • @Stephthatackle um buddy im pretty sure if you play in the NFL you know exactly what your doing, he even had is arms out about to wrap up and their helmets hit first causing the injury. Can you not see that?

  • @GriffinMcCarley well if you lunge your helmet first its gonna hit first..thats common sense, dumbass. thats y you dont do that..and do you watch NFL? cuz if you did u'd know that everett is a TE and probably not that familiar with tackling.

  • @Stephthatackle shut the fuck up already you have been arguing for months and everybody here is against you, you lost..... calm down i bet you sucked at football, which is why you are commenting on guys getting PARALYZED in the NFL to make yourself feel better, and by the way if he didnt know what he was doing then why is he in the NFL? so shut up its a great thing Everett did and you should have been hoping he had a full recovery other than ripping on him, douchbag

  • @matt32995 Wtf? When did i rip his injury? Im just saying he did it to himself. If you go back far enough this argument started when some guy said "Take helmets out of football" Im just saying..don't mess up the game because of what he did to himself...

  • @Stephthatackle actually you did when you called him a pussy

  • Always see what you hit. Glad Everett is doing better.

  • I heard he has managed to gain some movement and is even walking. I hope that is the case.

  • @ryryslugger88 hes made almost a full recovery

  • It's a shame these hits happen but this one wasnt caused by anyone really. Just a sad accident that ended his career and almost his life, ur the man K.E.

  • The guy almost died, and you wanna talk about how much money he makes, and that he doesn't deserve sympathy for his talent. That's sick yo'.

  • Why do ppl believe God only makes good things happen. Bad things happen and God (if you believe in God), has its reasons for having them happen.

  • there's no ambulance during nfl games.

  • he die?

  • @dlst09 No, he fully recovered.

  • It's difficult to feel bad for someone who makes as much money as he does.

  • @kennit1000 dumbass

  • @imaballr45 Such a compelling argument!

  • @kennit1000 he works harder than u so he just make more money than u simple as that

  • @imaballr45 LOL, if you say so, kid.

  • thats why you get a neck board like brian cox DUH

  • He got injured severely injured, which brings up an expensive medical bill. That is a helmet to helmet hit, which should bring up a fine. He is lucky to be even walking.

This is why you don't helmet to helmet tackle, for your safety and for others. This is a perfect example of how your life can change for the worst for doing something like that.

  • @ForceDaWin it was not helmet to helmet his helmet went at the shoulder if you ever played football you will know some times when you go in for a hit your helmet will hit players shoulder rather then your shoulder making first contact.

  • @therat36 It was both his head and his shoulder, which could have caused the Running Back to break his neck o.o...Luckily only one person was injured and not both.

  • @therat36 Oh and when I played football I go after the hamstrings...I played Safety so usually I push out.

  • i cant believe hes walking any more,

plus, that was a huge it,

    thats just crazy.

  • He can walk fine now and he's all normal and the only reason he got hurt was cause he put his head down when they hit. He says that himself in his book.

  • hey who hit everett so damn hard?

  • he hit Domenik Hixon u find out 5 seconds in the video moron

  • If you read this your lucky because I bet its something you didnt know. When I was practicing for football one time it was 1 on 1 tackling, and we werent even going extremely fast, but I was tackling him and he was trying to run threw me, and we hit and hte force was completely equal, so he broke his rib and my shoulder got jar'd up really good. It wasnt a high impact hit but because the forces were completely equal it left him with a broken rib.

  • All these coldhearted, spineless losers here make me sick.

This young man almost lost his life on the football field - Thank God he recovered and now has his health.

  • can he walk now?? i remember hearing he wouldn't be able to walk again but i'm not sure

  • I'm not sure I think maybe

  • yes he can but i think he may need crutches, I remember them saying that he might walk onto the field for the bills finale one year (he couldn't due to poor weather.

  • yes

  • dude he didnt lose his life no one ever died playing football to bad u cant say the same for basket ball

  • Football makes you coldhearted

  • @Masterofxtreme93 heh, spineless

  • @unclejimbo827 Asshole

  • @Masterofxtreme93 hey, you said it, not me

  • @unclejimbo827 But why laugh at such a serious issue..

  • @Masterofxtreme93

Why do people thank god? If god was so kind he wouldnt let people get hurt like that

  • @xandekocsi Why bring up a religious argument? This isn't the place to throw the "GOD DOESNT EXIST" garbage around. I understand what you are saying but I believe God was gracious in letting him survive. People who challenge God just say the negatives in everything that happens.

  • @Masterofxtreme93 Your argument doesn't hold water. If God is omnipotent and everything happens according to His will, it follows that He is responsible for all the negative things that happen in the world. According to the Christian world view, your 'God' put Kevin Everett into the position that he is in today. I'd rather place my trust in empiricism and evidence-based scientific research to explain these phenomena.

I hope that science is able to save Kevin and enable him to walk again. Peace.

  • @cuntylishus Because kevin was a sinner...well thats what the bible teaches.

  • @Masterofxtreme93 Keep that e-tard flim-flam out of here, you dirty Christian motherfuquer.

  • @JuniperSprouts You are a terirble person, God have mercy on your soul. >:/

  • @Masterofxtreme93 wrong if the fucking idiot had followed football rule #1...see what you hit he wouldnt have been paralyzed...theres gonna be alot of injuries like this as long as fools think its ok to hit with the top of their heads

  • wat did i say? n y m i a liar

  • Wow i cant believe some of yall are posting stuff on how this is funny and how hes tackling wrong? this was a life threatening injury. Nothing funny about it. Thank God hes still alive

  • true i hope he does well after that accident

  • Thank God he's still alive and can walk again. He's got a lot of heart.

  • His appearance at the ESPY's that year was awesome.

  • You gotta respect how he recovered

  • LOL your sucha LIAR

  • It didnt look like a bad hit, he kept his head up and led with his facemask

  • Chelseaafc. ur a idiot. the kid was almost paralyzed the rest of his life. ur a dick get off here

  • i piss on the algerian flag, but only if i don't need to use it as toilet paper to wipe the shit from my ass.

  • well i guess that sucks for you because he made a full recovery, bitch.. fuck you and go to hell

  • ahahaha the funny think is..that

    HE CAN WALK
