It's not oily skin, some types of lighting reflect off of your skin which makes your skin appear more shiny or oily than it actually is.

Personally I think it would be more helpful to take ordinary people and do makeup tutorials. I mean, a lot of the professional tutorials I've seen on Youtube are teenaged girls or models with great bones and flawless complexions...which doesn't help the rest of us much, especially when it comes to judging how the look would suit the average woman. Tiffany here would look great even without makeup. She doesn't have to worry about defining cheekbones, so how can she demonstrate it effectively?

it seems like in these videos, the artist describing what she is actually doing on her face is kind of an afterthought. To me, the point of putting videos like this up would be to actually instruct people how to do these techniques, and suggest mac products people could use to achieve this look.. Not to try to win an oscar for camera work and nonchalant semi-makeup related conversation.
