Yes, like you say, unofficial at the moment, but I'll update the video when it's been ratified by the FAI. For those not familiar with the X2 design, it has a twin coaxial rotor and a pusher prop. There is a video of the high speed flight here on Youtube.

The Sikorsky X2 has beaten the record now, 259mph, unofficial I think though but it won't be long.

I said the Sikorsky X-2 has beaten the record, though unofficially, the lynx did 249mph, the X-2 has now done 299mph I think.
