Beautiful redux of the original song. The choir singing in Latin especially adds to the beauty of this recreation of the Temple of Time theme.

This is my definition of great video game music adaptation. The elements of the original song, the tune, the mood and tone are all there, but enhanced to a whole new level of reality and imagination. Listening to this, your mind begins to build an image of what the song represents: a sacred temple as old as time itself. It's wonderous and mysterious, just like the temple of time itself. This version is a better representative of its subject than the original. That is what a remake should be.

Though I must say, the Latin is not grammatically correct. (If it's Classical Latin, that is. If it's Medieval Latin, I do not know if it's correct.) In Classical Latin, it should be "semper aeterna aedes temporis", which means "forever the eternal temple of time".

In fact I find her version better than the original...

I actually agree with you. If I were to come home from let's say a hard day at school, and I'm all crabby, if I put on any of my Zelda songs I have, they just calm me dowm and make me so relaxed. I've been thinking too that Zelda music has some sort of "conection" or "power" to the human mind.

this song in particular though... and this version... dont know but koji kono must be some sort of genious! and the lyrics make sense. and it is probably cuz zelda has true music. harps, ocarinas, violins and the choir or whatever this is and they are all old instruments for the most part and i dont know why but it does have some sort of connection...
