@redhead5150 It's pretty clear that my remarks are not about Jeff Beck, but about the singer, the former tennis player John Mcenro. You've got to read more clearly. I owned and was listening to Beck OLA before you were born.
@gethsenamane If you can't move past a spelling error than I can't move past your not capping the first word in your sentences, so you're completely incomprehensible, too, you ranting piece of shit.
Noel Redding said that the main asset of Jimi was his singing. Paradoxical? This version goes a long way to prove it, though I think that Hendrix forte was his songwriting's ability, on a par with the Beatles'.
@greatbighand Oh, no, I agree the vocals here are horrendous. I was replying to the proposition that Jimi's songwriting skills were comparable to the Beatles'
@2PinkFreuds I've been a Beatles fan since forever but just take into consideration the fact that Hendrix wrote more classics than the rest of the other virtuoso guitar players rolled into one. And what he did, he did in little more than 3 years. Can you mention a better debut album than JHE? Probably only The Velvet Underrground and Nico compares. And count the versions of his classsics by other people (or even of his versions of other people songs).
Jeff Beck just releasing some energy!!! His guitar playing is in a class of it's own!!! Don't believe me ask any rock guitar player.
