First, nice sample & beat! Second, I don't think Sevnth Child was trying to offend or be an ass, BUT I do see his point! Think about it, if this was to be a SERIOUS contender for an artist to spit on, you'd have think about sample clearance! So when it comes to this, knowing the correct artist the sample came from is important! So I see the point in what he was getting at. No harm, no foul, I feel he was trying to be helpful. First off this is a nice beat, but I wouldn't worry about samples. If the song does take off the artist usually makes enough to get it cleared. I sell sampled beats all the time and I just tell them upfront that I am not responsible for clearing samples. They can only sue if you make so much off of it. If you sell it for like $50 they can't come after you but if the artist makes a milli they will go after the artist.
