if you use carrara 5 pro and up

theres a botton for fire in the menu

it also look like flames, works like a charm.

It only works for a still photo. I am unable to animate it. I tried the bounce modifier but it looks horrable. Thanks for the tip. Please let me know if you know how to animate it.
